The only issue I see with a counter or batt meter is it would shorten the life of the batt. It would only work on a fat batt or mod. On a 510 or 808 it wouldn't be worth knowing if it reduced the battery life.

That is too funny!!! I want my to give me a pep talk. "You are a good person, you will succeed today, you will be popular among your friends today, you are important, etc." Maybe one phrase, randomly, every time I push the battery button!!!
