just a touch ......ed newbie, help!

I can't figure out how to respond to someone who posts on my thread, so I can say thank you, etc..
Also, don't know what "reply" or "quick reply" does. Tried it, I can type, but my message goes no where. Hope I am making sense to you.
Is there a thread or something I can find this info on?

If I don't figure this out, I'll say thank you so much now.... for info

Reply opens up a form for you to type a reply into. When you finish, click Post Quick Reply and it will appear as the next post in sequence. Post is the term for your message. Reply is an answer or comment to someone elses post.

There's a little box that will appear when you click reply to type your response. After responding click below your text on the button "Post Quick Reply".
