Want to thank everybody here for the wealth of info . Just amazed at the depth of knowledge & lack of propaganda /hype that is too common these days .

I smoked for over 29 years & tried nearly everything including that "purple pill " (dismal psychotic break ), Patches , gum & abstinance . All failed .

Went to the tobacco store & saw a "disposable " ecig & figured why not ? Crappy product . But I had no desire to light up ! Scoured the 'net checked reviews & Popped for a 510 equipped mod , Icon (PS) & have not lit up for over 24hrs & dont think I ever will . It looks like something a Borg might toke on . Heh . I have been assimilated . I wish there were these products 20 years ago . Time to create some mods ....

For me at least , abstinence was futile . Rocks !

BTW some nice cartomizers for 510 are the Boge soft-caps. Slim battery 510's can only use the standard resistance, fat battery models should be able to use the standard or hotter low resistance ones. Nice simple cartos, well made and I get good reuse out of them.

Thanks . I picked up 4x the Boge low res cartos, a 306 lr (forgot to order a drip tip) & a drip tip for the Stock 510 atty (Joye?) Lovin it . Any suggestions for flavors ? I wonder if there is a habenero flavor available ....

Well, I can't think of any premixed juice, but if you're interested in learning how to make DIY juice, it seems that perfumers' apprentice had a jalapeño flavor. Add that to an unflavored base and that's about it. Let me know how it turns out...I'm feeling a bit adventuresome myself!

I 100% concur. I love how much info is found on this site. I wish I had known about this when I tried PVs the first time around, probably would have stuck. All good though a year later and been smoke free for 5 days and plan to never go back. I love my PV too much, ciggerates are gross now lol.

Welcome....glad you found us! Sounds like you've found your way pretty quickly...nice setup and cool cartos/attys. Good job. I smoked for over 40 years and have now NOT smoked for 9 months and counting.....all the way to forever. Vaping is wonderful. I, too, wish these had been around 20 years ago. Better late than never. And you'll find that this is much more than just replacing your "habit"....it will quickly turn into a "hobby" unless you're very different from the rest of us. Ha. Keep us informed of how it's going. The suggestion above of DIYing your own juice is a good one....think about it. It's fun and easy...just one more layer of the hobby. It makes this whole process really, really, REALLY cheap. Even if you vaped gold it'd be cheaper than smoking (after the initial investment for equipment,) but with making your own juice, it's outrageous.

Many of us had the same reviliation. E-cigs are great devices and health care institutions should pick up to help people quit. Also government offices should promote this (but I understand it is hard to say goodbye to the enormous amount of tax coming from tobbacco companies...).
