Ego's seem to be a really good step up, they use either ego threaded type delivery devices, or 510 threaded(tanks or cartos) They are simple to use, offer options and will be a good inexpensive way to move on and make sure your really ready before diving into some expensive or complicated hobbyist stuff.

It's what I use(ego-t 1100) with a basic 510 clearomiser(ce2). It is an older version but I don't have leaks, I know how to clean it and most important to me is cheap. Sad for me I think the ce'2 are dwindling and I'm going to have to bite the bullet and find something else that works as well.

Maybe you should try reading it. If you like I could read it to you. Oh ya I almost forgot.... :)
We don't live that far apart; you want to GT somewhere? :D i also enjoy a good Stout, or Imperial, if you know a spot that serves a good one.

Any chance you're going to the Makerfaire this year?

between here and there
WOW I'm so sorry XD I didn't even see the new member info. I now see a forum on there called what e-cig should I buy. I suppose that will answer my question.

Before you go spending loads of cash, read my post a page or two back. I think it got lost in the flurry of responses to this thread. As long as the Blu ecig is doing what satisifies you and your cravings, please don't rush out to buy(like I did) lots of new ones. You need to give it a little bit of time so you can read and discover what it is you want/expect from an ecig.
happy vaping
:)

honestly, its f great that the Blu has introduced you to vaping and ecigs.

Dont spend any more money on it.

I started with the CREAM of the CROP product from Blu. Their Premium 100 starter kit, with additional batteries. Blew over 100 bucks on the whole thing including cartomizers.

I bought better equipment less than a week later.

Fact is, blu is fine to get you started, but its not gonna cut it for a viable cigarette replacement.

Let me suggest an affordable option or two that will have you in vaping heaven in no time...

    http://www.myvaporstore.com/Vision_Spinner_Joye_Ego_C_Twist_Combo_p/vvs-c.htm
On the page, there is four dropdown menus to select the items. For batteries 1 and 2, choose the 1300Mah Vision Spinner, in whatever color. For the Cartomizer 1 and 2, choose the Kanger Evods, in whatever color.

Then, get some E-Liquid. The E-liquid MyVaporStore sells is pretty good. Id stick with either the import or the PG-VG blend. Get 10ml bottles, and get a variety. Maybe a tobacco, a fruit, a dessert/sweet, a menthol etc etc.

Cheaper than a blu kit, and it blows the doors off of the blus. With that setup, you can try a bunch of diffferent types of cartomizers, atomizers, clearomizers and tanks, because pretty much everything will thread onto it. And then of course, JUICE. There is a PLETHORA of juice vendors out there. The standard suggestion when getting started might as well be MtBakerVapor.. huge selection, ridiculously cheap, super fast shipping.

Best of luck to you mate!

Oh wow, I was unaware no nicotine was absorbed through the lungs.. should I stick with the disposable one for a bit?

Thank you for the suggetion.. unfortunately I'm looking to spend probably 50 maximum.

Also, I cannot purchase this product online. I am 21 years old going into my senior year of college so I still live with my parents, my father doesn't know I smoke and would never allow me to etc etc..

My mother knows but, gotta hide it from my father :( (He wouldn't approve of e-cig either)

So I'm restricted to going to search at locations near me.

I'm in the same boat as OP... I bought the blu last Thursday, rather on a whim, to see if I liked it any better than analog smoking. The first cartridge lasted me for about two and a quarter days. I normally smoked about 16 analogs a day. I liked it immediately, but realized I would want better equipment. Until that gets here, I have the blu to get me through and I'll have it as a backup. I don't really get the *hate* that I'm seeing in the vaping world for blu. If it is viewed as an easy intro to vaping, isn't that a good thing? And like any product, caveat emptor (buyer beware). The fact that blu is paying for nationwide advertising to make vaping more mainstream seems like it'll be helpful, as well, to get the word out and more people off of analogs. In reply to the OP, the High level cartridges that my set came with are supposed to be 13-16 mg and last 250 puffs. For the sake of averages, let's call that 14.5 mg and divide that by 250 puffs. That gives us 0.058 mg nicotine per puff. The Marlboro Ultra Light 100s I smoked purportedly have 0.5 mg per analog. That means that I should puff 9 (8.62 to be exact) hits to equal about one cig. To take that one step further that means that each cartridge is equal to almost 28 cigarettes at nine hits per. If you want to know what the levels are for your particular brand, just google the name and nicotine content. You can do the math.
It's not so much hatred as it is trying to prevent someone from making the same mistakes that you've already made. I can't tell you how many dead cartridges I got from them online but it was in the 60 to 70 percent range and disposables that were dead straight from the pack. And while it's true that it is an introduction to vaping my concern is about the people who give up on vaping after buying what is in my opinion a badly substandard product .
