So I tend to go through PVs. Check out my sig. Those are just the PVs I killed in the first year of vaping! I currently have 2 eGo PTs, but I'm killing atties. My most recent gripe is that the atty gets so hot, the cone, the steel drip tip and the top of the battery are way too hot to touch. The tips of my fingers are very unhappy with me. The eGo just isn't giving me the power I need.

So I've been looking for a new device. I've always been interested in mods. I even owned a small cheapie. It was wonderful. Except I put it in a binder, where it locked in the ON position, and messed it all up. I've been researching bottom feeders and had it down between a Reo and one of those VMod things. I read a lot of contradictory reviews, but decided the Reo would be a more stable, easier to use mod.

So ... here goes!

Reo Mini 2.0 (18490) black/silver. Very sexy!

2 AW IMR 18490 batts
Xtar WP2 II charger
UNI-T UT10A Multimeter

3 Super shorty 510 1.7ohm cartos
5-pack Joye 510 LR atties
5-pack Joye 306 LR atties
306 Delrin Drip Tip
510 Delrin "Knucklehead" Drip Tip (FUN!)

Well... those orders made me feel like I started ALL OVER AGAIN!

I wanted to stock on atties/cartos a little since I just don't order too often. I DIY and I'm down to 1mg nic. I want to enjoy my vaping.. I haven't really been able to do that recently. Just too frustrating.

I know there's a whole Reo culture that I don't yet understand.. But I am looking for a reliable vape, in a small, cute package. I hope I did this right!!

Wow. You're going to L-O-V-E your new toy. Sounds like you thought it through....the only thing I'd suggest is maybe order a couple more batteries when you get around to it. Two will do you, but four would be twice as good. :) That's the only thing I can see....otherwise you are set for awhile. I love my REOs and so do thousands of others....as you will see as you read through these threads. Welcome, new reonaut! Hi, I'm Jan.

Hi Jan! I will pick up more batteries.. Eventually soon! This is like a super starter kit for me. Having several charged batteries ready to go would be quite nice, but I don't have that pressing need at this time. No travel plans for some time to come! Though with hurricane season in full swing, and winter coming, it would be good to have extras in case of power outages!

Thank you for the welcome everyone! I'm excited!! And now I get to obsess over the mail for the next week or so...

Welcome, adeline :)
I'm Lisa. I agree with Jan...you'll probably want to have another battery or two. Just for rotation purposes. I'm guilty of forgetting to charge a battery, so when I need it, it's nice to have that "spare" available. But it's not necessary. Looks like you've got everything you need to get started.
There's a ton of information here and it's a chore to sort through, so some of us have put together an index of threads that have been very helpful for others. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/270331-free-reo-forum-thread-index.html I hope you find it helpful. But if you have any questions, feel free to start a thread and ask. :)

Oh my god, I never thought of power outages... NEVER... HOLY .... that scares me! The power was out for a week here last winter. YIKES! Guess I'll have to go to the mall to vape and charge my cellphone if that ever happens again. Gulp.

Or a battery charger with a car adapter. I mean, if ya gotta vape... ;)

you can use the super shorty cartos with a reo? I still don't really understand how the tube enters the atty/carto. But, I guess 1 day I'll have the money to buy a Reo or a Reo-Mini and I'll find out for myself lol

 The juice is fed through the tube up into the connector. An atty or carto that is "unsealed" (has a hole in the bottom of it) will receive juice through that hole. So it's like dripping....only going from the bottom up. :)

Welcome new Reonaut!

Just wanted to add here that if you bought your REO from reosmods you will get a email from PayPal with tracking when it ships. All REO's need a signature for delivery. Just watch your tracking for delivery day and be ready to sign. If you can't be there then you will get a slip that you can take to the P.O. and pick it up.

Watch for that email. Sometimes they go into your spam folder.

I know you will enjoy your new REO and the REO way of vaping!

Ooohh.. Thank you for that tip, I would not have guessed. I have the ability to work from home on occasion, so I just might have to that day. I wish shipping companies would commit to even a 4-hour window like cable guys. Would make things a little simpler!! I'm quite excited!!

Mail person stalking is fun too! At least your tracking will give you the delivery date. You can plan that way!

Well what do you know, I just got the "Shipped!" email. :)

Even going USPS, Maine to NC shouldn't take forever.

So you're telling me, the mailman, who has never made me sign for anything, is going to make me sign for this package?? Gah!

Springs, button covers, extra batteries.. I'm making a list!

Yes....he will (should, anyway, Rob paid for him to!!) make you sign for it. So watch out the window and be there when you see him. I have a pretty good mailman who will actually knock on my door if he's supposed to, but I've heard horror stories of lazy mailmen who just leave the little notice in the mailbox (saying nobody was home) without even checking to see if he could have delivered it.
