Yay!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations. What color did you get?? Black/silver (I think...)....too cool. Yes the little button covers really are nice. About pushing the button....you know, you just barely have to push it for it to fire. Hold it up to your ear and just barely push the button until you hear your atty hiss. When I first got my first REO, I was a button masher. I thought I had to push it all the way down for it to work.....but you don't. You barely have to push it at all. Just a heads up. When you said the button cover should make firing a little easier, I got to thinking back to when I first started out....

Have fun. And about that juice "control".....I laugh. I vape more juice than EVER since I have my REOs. Ha. vaping is so fun with one of these that I just chain vape ALL THE TIME. Be careful at first, while you're getting used to your new toy, that you don't over-nic yourself. :)

Okay, now I feel a little silly about the button. Yeah it's killing my finger tips, but I guess I didn't need to mash it. Haha.. Thanks.

Juice control.. Well with leaky atty issues I waste a lot. Add that to having no clue how much liquid I actually go through per day, I am just hoping for some consistency.. And less waste. And a ballpark figure for how much DIY I need to keep stocked.

Unfortunately I'm sitting in my cubby at work, so chain vaping isn't a real option. I do vape at work, I just don't let clouds of vapor linger above my head.

Over-nic?? Not possible on 1mg! I've actually been wondering if I should step back up to 2mg or 3mg because of the volume of juice I go through. But I'll make that decision once I have a firm grip on how much I'm actually vaping.

Can I go home now? ;)

ETA: I have the Black/Silver. I almost got one with that stunning blue, but I saw two different shades of blue and really didn't like one of them. From what I've gathered since, the blue I did not like was a one-run blue.. Oh well! I'm a meat-and-potatoes, sharp-but-basic kind of gal.. And this Reo is quite sharp!

Glad you finally have it "in Hand"!

JC is right about the button. Just the slight push, it will move just a tad.

Blind squonking is easy. Just draw on the atty with no firing and push the bottle a little. Listen for the juice to gurgle just a little then stop. You don't need a lot of juice in there.

Your draw will determine your need for squonking. A long, hard draw will use juice more quickly.

The atty you use will also determine the air flow and your hit. I tend to draw longer when the atty is quite airy.

Be sure you only squeeze lightly on the bottle. And not for very long! That way you don't flood.

Try this:

  1. Remove your atomizer and blow out the majority of the juice into a tissue
  2. If there is any juice in your reservoir of your Reo, swab it out with a tissue or q-tip
  3. Put the atty back on your Reo
  4. Look at the base of the atty and gently squeeze your juice bottle
  5. As soon as you see any juice appear in any of the four notches at the top of your Reo's atty connector, let go of the bottle
  6. Vape!

Depending on your draw when you vape, this should be good for 3 to 5 vapes before your atomizer starts to get too dry. When done correctly, your atomizer will be neither too dry nor flooded. When dripping, it only takes 3 drops to properly feed your atty, so having juice sloshing around in the reservoir isn't necessary. You'll get the hang of it with a little practice and trial & error.

Great tip! I too am a new squonker, been trying the blind squonker and I'm so so at it with not flooding. I'll give this way a go.

Ok, the squonking is getting a lot easier. Got my button in too, which is really nice. I have everything now.. 4 batts and pouches for them, extra everything in case of emergency, and I'm already in a groove. Got my batteries labelled so I know that I'm rotating them properly (just numbers). Anyway I took a couple pictures. I took them with an Android phone, so they pretty much suck (as far as image quality). Be gentle!

Perfect size for me:

The perfect pouch for my gear. We go way back. No idea what this is actually. Got it from a previous employer a few years ago. At that point, it held a tiny usb mouse and battery operated speakers. The pouch is much more useful.

Carries everything I need. As well as a backup PV. No idea why I'll need a backup. But I was in the military. I learned how to prepare for war. Some of it stuck..

Maybe some day I'll bust out the DSLR. But I'm feeling rather lazy right now!

CONGRATS!!! I've had zero problems and haven't had to mess with "stuff" all the time. Just swap batts, refill juice and fire away. Chain vape bliss, I barely even have to clean it! I "played" with my REO for a 2 weeks straight before going into "this is awesome, no need to fiddle with it, cause it ain't gonna break" mode. I did switch from cartos exclusive on other pv's to falling in love w/atties. I could finally see their true potential. Now I've switched to 306's and find them the best and easiest to sqonk! Just the smallest little squeeze:)
Hope you have as much fun as all of us seem to have. Cheers!

Thank you!

I have a 510 on there now. I haven't messed around with my 306s yet, or the itty bitty smoktek 1.7ohm cartos. I just transferred my atty from the box mod and went with it. I really can't wait to try the 306s though. I picked up 2 drip tips for them. I'm sure the canon is going to look very sharp.

I am thinking of picking up a .357 shortly.. What kind of drip tip goes on that anyway??

I know RBAs are hard to come by for the mini. I am not a machinist at all. I don't dremmel, I don't solder. I could drill, but I am not sure I even have one that'll work on RBAs. Any RBAs out there that I can pop on this thing without modding them? I'm interested to try building wicks and coils.

Also, what kind of device should I be testing RBAs on? Something VV? I might have to wait until xmas if that's the case. In addition to the hybrid (car -- haha) I'm getting myself for the holidays, I'm picking up SOMETHING VV.

Sorry for all the random Qs.
