Well what do you know, I just got the "Shipped!" email. :)

Even going USPS, Maine to NC shouldn't take forever.

So you're telling me, the mailman, who has never made me sign for anything, is going to make me sign for this package?? Gah!

Springs, button covers, extra batteries.. I'm making a list!

Robert pays for the signature confirmation. If the mail person does not make you sign they could be in big trouble!!! Robert wants to make sure you get the package. Ain't he sweet?

If you're on good terms with your mail carrier, (this is accomplished by leaving a holiday card in the mailbox every year with a little something in it), you may be able to sign a signature form before hand and they'll leave your package in your mailbox.

My mail lady somehow finds out every time I break my back and homebound and she drives my mail up the dirt road to my house. She's a sweetie but she's married so the only thing I get to hold are all the bills... and my vape mail.

Yes... Sweet... I understand.. If someone's paying a minimum $140 for a single piece of equipment, you want to make sure it arrives. I'm sure there are plenty of mail-swipers. And just last week, a package my bf ordered from Newegg went to the neighbor's house. That was UPS or FedEx or something though. I'm sure the mailman can read our addresses accurately. ;)

Now I'm just hoping my batts get here at the same time (or before!)... I almost got the standard mini because I have 14500s and a charger for them just laying around.

Patience!!!

I'll have to remember that. I've only lived at my current house for 3 months. Not enough time to bribe the mailman unfortunately...

I'm new t the reo world myself. LOVE them. I got a mini and an 18490 mini. Yesterday I used boge LR cartos to test them. That was good. Today my shorty 1.7 ohm cartos arrived. NOW I am happy. The size is great, and the vape is great!

I have my provari sitting upstairs at the moment and can not believe I don't care. I believe I own the best of both worlds now. Rocking the 18490 mini and love the feel.

I just can't quite decide if I should fire with my thumb or index finger. I'm alternating trying to get how it feels best for me.

Grumble..

Expected delivery Monday. Same day as another shipment (batts, charger, meter, knucklehead, cartos...).

Why am I unhappy about it? I realized there is no way in heck I'm going to be able to be home for it. I have a monthly review with my main customer (of 8) on Tuesday, and Monday I have to spend in-office to review the presentation. Love the speedy delivery.. Not thrilled about my work schedule!!

Guess I'll have to make a mad dash to the post office on Tuesday. How does that work..? Do they try to redeliver automatically the next day or will I have a shot at picking it up Tuesday??

How lovely! That makes me feel a bit better! No running to the PO, and I'll have fully charged batteries ready to go.

I dug out my 14500s and charged them. Turns out my 3.7v Foxy Box wasn't dead after all.. My batteries were drained. I had only tested it in passing, but I still feel like a newb on that front. But.. now I've officially retired those awful eGo PTs! I'll probably pass them off to the BF, who's quite happy with the eGo setup. He's super simple.. 1000mAh eGo PT, LR dewicked atty, Wyatt Earp @6ml. I'm onto box mods, still experimenting with atties/cartos, envious of RBAs, DIYing several flavors, and dropping my nic levels.. @1mg now.. Scared to go down to 0mg, but it is inevitable.

One of my 14500s isn't holding a fantastic charge, so I'm glad the 18490s are coming so quickly. Probably going to put in another order for batteries soon.. Should probably stock on both since I want a backup unit in case of a PVocalypse.

Yes....he will (should, anyway, Rob paid for him to!!) make you sign for it. So watch out the window and be there when you see him. I have a pretty good mailman who will actually knock on my door if he's supposed to, but I've heard horror stories of lazy mailmen who just leave the little notice in the mailbox (saying nobody was home) without even checking to see if he could have delivered it.

That happened to me twice till i squealed on him, lol( "cept he just stuck it in the mailbox and signed my name!)

Well, I spent too much time on the forum this weekend... Wayyyy too much time.

Already bought 2 more 18490 batts, 4 14500s (for my backup 3.7v box. the batteries I have currently are mostly toast), and 2 nylon bag doohickeys that'll hold a couple batts/a couple bottles.

Then I hit the reo website and got a little bit of everything.. Button cover, tubing, bottles, springs, magnets. I think I am definitely good to go now. :)

Now I just need the mail to get here. And to stop buying stuff!

Oh, and.. I know it sounds like blasphemy, but how does the Reo 18490 do in the regular ego zip-pouch? Going to work I just throw everything into an awesome laptop bag and I don't want the Reo getting scratched or tumbling around upside-down. I like atties, and I know they leak. Cartos might not, but I would really despise having to clean/replace my wallet, cell phone, or laptop bag.

With my carrier, anyway, he'll leave me a card, then I sign it and leave it the next day for him, then the NEXT day (the third day!!) he brings it back. So....you might want to be careful and either take the card to the P.O. yourself and pick it up, OR make sure he knows to bring it back the next day. I think you can go online and tell them stuff.....Just a heads up.

Theoretically yes...The photo is of a mini in an ego pouch. With the thicker body, you may not be able to fit juice bottles in there, perhaps spare atties and drip tips will fit in that pouch. But I'm sure it would hold the REO 18490. :)

Well, my first shipments arrived. I'm stocked up on decent atties, a couple short cartos, a couple new drip tips, and batteries. They are now charged and tested @ 4.2 ... Now I just need to go to the post office tomorrow!! Woohoo!

My extra batteries and spare Reo gear should be here Wednesday or Thursday. Feeling good!!

Thank you for the picture!! This is all good to know. I was worried that the thickness of the Reo would be problematic for my existing case.. But we'll just have to wait and see. I have another miscellaneous pouch hanging around the house somewhere... With a couple compartments and zippers. It has had multiple purposes over the years.. I'm sure my Reo would be quite happy in it!

Tangent/Side-story time! St. Patricks Day weekend (Saturday was "Parade Day") 2010, the pouch held about $2,000 in cash.. I was a server for an Irish Pub.. and well, I had a wonderful shift. [These days I have an awesome desk job with a fantastic IT/Networking company (the brand of those 306 atties people like so much), so no dealing drinks for me anymore.. But some of the memories are awesome!]

It's here!!! I swung by the PO in between a customer meeting and heading to the office.

This is much smaller than I was expecting. And heavier. It feels sturdy. It's neat to see how it all fits together! The lid is a nifty bit of engineering!!

Of course squonking is a new thing I need to master.. When to squonk, how long to hold a squonk. I was blind squonking on the car ride into the office (Yes, I shamelessly assembled my Reo in the parking lot of the PO).

This is all very interesting and fun. I figure with the 3ml bottle I can really get my juice usage in check. I have no idea how much I go through per day, but I know it's way to much. Hopefully I waste less juice through leaks too.. Catch cup = awesome. I am also glad I ordered a button cover. That should make firing a little easier.

I can't wait to get home and play with it and read through tons of threads! Maybe I'll post a pic or two as well!

Yay!! :2cool:
