Hey guys! Still a new member, been posting in threads here and there.

I've been vaping for about 2 or 3 months now but only about the past month and a half seriously. I started with an ego style battery and iclear 16s but they didn't really do it for me. It wasn't until i bought a CLK 1280 and an aerotank mega that i dropped the smokes after 7 years at just under a pack a day. Since then, it's been a wild ride. I picked up an MVP 2 and an aspire nautilus and used the 1280 as back up, but the rebuilding bug got me. I started doing research and watching video after video and last week decided to finally pull the trigger and picked up an IPV2 and today i picked up the darkhorse RDA, some kanthal, and some cotton, and got to building.

My first build is a 1.5ohm single coil. 8 wraps on a 3/32" drill bit with 28 guage kanthal and i gotta say, I'm in love. The clouds are unimaginable (well, not by you guys haha), and my juices taste so much better. It's a very satisfying feeling building and vaping on something you built. I can only imagine what you guys that are making your own box mods feel like.

PS. Does anyone know how to post pictures or do i have to wait till I have 5 posts? IMG tags arent working.

Congrats to you on your build. Not only is building economical and a fun part of the hobby but it truly gives you a sense of accomplishment. I still get amazed when I do one and it actually works.

Made a 1 ohm single coil no problem. It's early but it seems like i got micro coils down pretty well (watching coil build tutorials on youtube for 2 weeks helped I'm sure).

The darkhorse came with two pre-built coils but they measure out to 0.3 ohms so i think I'm gonna work on getting the hang of dripping and making coils a little better before i start going sub-ohm.

Thanks for the move, classwife!

Haha! Awesome bro! Now....the money will begin to flow freely from you young grasshoppa! Haha. Could building has to be one of the funniest things I've done in some time. Since I was introduced to rebuildables less than 6 months ago I have bought, no bs, 11 devices, and 19 rda/rbas. I just can't stop myself!! Welcome man!
