Hi, I just started vaping with the Joye 510 mega and my battery just died on me. Usually I switch them each morning but last night my hubby took my back up cig to work. I have been using the same battery for a good 12 hours and it just now went dead...I think that is pretty good...are there some that last longer?

You got 12 hours out of a slim 510 mega (280mah)? WOW. I get about 5 hours.

To get longer life you need to get Ego or Riva 510 batteries (both are fat-battery 510s) - you could either just get the batteries and charger (they use their own faster charger you cannot charge 510 batteries on - it could damage them). Or really cheap get a whole Riva kit on Liberty-Flights.com for I think $29.95 and click something on the front page for a 20% discount.

It shouldn't go dead just yet. Are your charger lights lighting up when you screw your batt into it? I've gone through two chargers in a very short period of time. The 3rd one broke around the housing intead of frying, but it still works with some delicate plugging in. Maybe your supplier will send you a replacement. Perhaps you should purchase another starter kit for spare parts and as a backup if you can swing it.

I think she means it ran out of charge, not died fatally.

I had battery emergencies in the beginning too. You could just buy more 510 mega batteries. I love the mega manuals. Joye sells a Mega PCC for charging on the go. Or if you had enough batteries you could just carry a spare when you go out. I usually put a carto condom on the end of the battery and stick it in my pocket.

I also have full charging setups at home and work as well as PT's in both places. I am pretty much covered for emergencies now.

If your batteries are lasting you 12 hours on a charge you don't need a bigger battery in my opinion. You might want to consider getting a spare though. It would be cheaper that way since you don't have to buy a charger. They're only $12.99 at Madvapes 510 Mega battery. Plus it gives you an excuse to try some different juices if you want since you're ordering anyway! I love their maple cream.
