I looked at that page, and I don't see where AltSmoke "released" it. It looks to me like they're just an advertiser. I couldn't find any information about AltSmoke, outside of that one little box.

To be honest if I hadn't found V4L, AltSmoke would be my go-to vendor. I own two of their mods and I've made a few other purchases from them over the months. I've never had even the hint of a problem.
