those don't flash if there is power they stay solid. The one i posted is a bit smaller and cheaper. Took about 2 1/2 weeks to get here from china though

I saw that exact one...blue led, I'm trying to find an ammeter that's the same size/type, don't care about the color...thing its by the time I pick up a v meter and an a meter and screw around connecting I may as well get that v/a combo for $20

Bad thing about all the small amp meters is they require a separate power supply. Also i believe the minimum voltage to run is 7 volts. I got one anyways. This is the smallest one i have found ★ DC 0 to 9.99A RED Digital Panel Meter DC Ammeter ★ | eBay

Hope it brings a flight manual for the three pots

Features:

The 0.36-inch voltmeter ammeter LED digital tube, voltmeter resolution 0.1 V, ammeter resolution 0.01 A, with blue and green LED digital tube
Non-isolated step-down constant current, constant voltage module (CC CV) charging module

Input voltage: 7-26V
Output voltage: continuously adjustable (1.25-25V)
Minimum Voltage difference: 2V
Output current: rated 2.5A, the largest 2.5A (more than 15W, please install the heat sink)
Constant current range :0-2.5A (adjustable)
Size: ultra-small size 49 (W) * 68 (L) * 17 (H) mm (without potentiometer)
Output power: natural cooling 15W, 25W with heatsink
Conversion efficiency: up to 92% (output voltage higher, higher the efficiency)
Output ripple: 20M bandwidth (for reference only)
Input 12V Output 5V 2.5A 60mV (MAX)
Operating temperature: Industrial grade (-40 ℃ to +85 ℃)
(ambient temperature exceeds 40 degrees, lower power use, or add one heatsink)
Full load temperature rise: 45 °C
No-load Current: Typical 10mA (12V switch to 4.2V)
Load regulation: ± 1%
Voltage regulation: ± 0.5%
Dynamic response speed: 5% 200uS
Potentiometer adjustment direction: clockwise (increase), counterclockwise (decrease)
Indicator:Yellow LED constant current, red LED work, fully charged of green LED
Output short circuit protection: Yes, constant current (constant current value of the current settings)
Input reverse polarity protection: No, please comply with our plate or in the input reverse polarity protection diode in series.

Other please refer to the manual

There's a flippy door that goes over the ash tray but if they find it I'll tell them it controls the machine guns behind the head lights...Bond, James Bond

Gotcha, It would look good in my Expedition, I normally have my PT plugged to an outlet in the back of the center console, my Uzi sits on the console.

After reading these specs, I don't think the amp meter reads the amps used, it is just there to set the max amp out for charging. Don't know what the limit switch adjustment does.

Hey BJ, good news on the no flash, they used a 3 wire meter (as they should)...as far as the amp meter goes...seems a serious waste of meter but when you think about it, how else would you set the cc limit without a reference?, you're probably right...I already asked this seller about whether the meters blink or not, he had no clue what I was talking about...maybe he can answer the amp meter question...stay tuned.

did you hook up the tact switch yet?

Yep the tact switch works, waiting for the on off on switches to replace the jumpers and I'll box it up.
