That would be with just a single 14500 battery. Like I had stated, these are buck regulators and with 2 14500s in series, I think you will get plenty of amps to run; at least I have.
They're a really nice case, I made my buddy's mod out of it (his only mod) and they take a pretty good beating but the slide door goes from brutal to get on/off to a bit loose after a while...just touch the track glides with a hot soldering iron and you're good to go...
I noticed the weak sliding mechanism but since I will be charging in box, it should hold up. The belt sleeve for carrying is cool. Maybe a lanyard so I don't drop it overboard.

That's the one...two things about this box that irritate me...first, the cost...sure, it's unique, and super easy to build in but $7? come on...and 2nd, the USB port knock-out on the top.
but because of the sliding cover, if you fab your own tops and bottoms you can do all kinds of cool things with these...

I love Cannons...if only I could build some kind of juice re-circ system that perpetually pumped juice that leaks out back into it...they're the SR-71 of attys...the stuff I use for the tops/bottoms is my fav modding material...Lexan, not only is it machinable, it's serious tough and not prone to cracking like plexy...not to mention I have a .... load of it 
All right guys, no laughing...so, I wasn't digging the build plan for the Zmax module...then I saw BJ's parallel 18650 DNA, got a jealous and thought what more appropriate container could I possibly use for a Zmax module than an Altoids tin so I banged this off last night...there's like 4 sticks of glue in this bad boy...when the module dies, and it most likely will (soon) I'll just toss it in the garbage...plus I thought...every modder has to have at least one Altoid mod...

Oh BTW, I bid on both of these on eBay and got both. Just under $8 for both. Think I'll make a PT similar to my Desktop Mod for home use.

No Lexan in this one, just a wack of glue gun glue...you know, if you guys want to try working with Lexan most window shops will have it...maybe even small scrap pieces they'll just give you...Lexan is a trade name for polycarbonate, I say try there because to buy a sheet (even a small one) at Lowes or HD is just sick expensive. The reason I have so much is because I used to do facility management for detention centers where it's rare to use glass...the only issue with polycarbonate is that it doesn't take well to being glued together.

Looks like they just gave you some contact pins in case you want to board mount it, nice of them but they aren't necessary, just toss them in your spare parts box, you never know
Dual 3100 panasonic DNA mod passed the fishing test. From 5am to 12 midnight. 19 hours and it was still functioning. The case got a little salt spray and needs washing. Good fishing day, one bonefish, one permit, two barracudas and great vaping. Life is good. New 10k long knob pot from Madvapes worked out fine.

Just a short note to say I love these cheap LM2596. If you are into genesis and SS mesh wicks these are unbelievable for testing and breaking in a coil/wick. I have yet to ruin one. As PTs with a 12v 5 amp supply they can't be beat and if you do pop one you are out a couple of bucks. IMO Provaris and DNAs are great but PITA for breaking in a ss wick/coil. Many of my wick/coils won't even heat up when I put them new on a Provari or DNA, so I screw it to a cheapo LM2596 and instantly see the short and adjust. Life in the genny world is much easier with a LM2596.
