Yes it works better than expected AND it's much better to maintain, meaning it doesn't get as dirty and it's easier to clean. However, it doesn't beat the accuracy and one hand-use of the threaded one on the GGTS.

I'm sorry to tell you that threaded one you have to turn back and forth to reach your point and you are limited by the thread pitch. In this one you are really not limited by anything except the tenderness of your finger tips. I see it more accurate this way.

EDIT: the pitch thing might not be accurate I apologize if it doesn't make sense scientifically. It is the angle of the thread that decides :D

Ithaka looks beautiful on Just GG. But I must say my Storm Rider has found a Comfy place with GG as well!

oh h e l l no...I'm going to take the hotel suite and have maid service and room service...He can stay home with the 9 dogs and enjoy the "quiet"....LOL
We all should pitch in for a Hotel Suite in a central location, lease it on a year to year basis and have a sign up sheet for specific dates.
I'm ok with the fold out, River and Yankee can have the other beds.

The air vent is what 2mm in height? On the jGG you have a 1:1 relation when moving the ring. On the GGTS it depends on the thread angle but regardless of that you're always rotating the ring over a larger distance than the jGG, thus making it less likely that you'll misjudge the distance, thus making it more precise. Basically picture the right angled triangle on the bottom. On the jGG you're moving along a, on the GGTS along c; c is always greater than a.

I also feel like it's easier to rotate the ring on the GGTS than to slide the one on the jGG.

I'm not saying that I don't like the control ring, just saying that when I'm on the move, talking on the phone, I often have to adjust the ring 2 or 3 times to get it right, whereas I Never had that problem with the GGTS.

Well... thank you guys, I laughed a lot with all these "to buy or not to buy" one more JGG :toast:
I also laughed with the "low S/Ns guys" because they didn't realised that they fell in imeo's trap to buy one more :D ...

I knew it!, I knew it!...

...there was something suspicious :glare:

Anyway, Imeo, can I get the number 0007 or the 1111 on my second Just GG? So I'll have to buy a third one  :danger:
