I have the same issue and I believe it is because if your Ithaka has the new brass alloy pin attached to it, it is just long enough to put pressure on that floating center post (not sure I am calling it the proper name) and it pushes it out automatically, without the ithaka on it or without the new brass alloy pin attached, it will stay in place.

I like using the pin because it is bigger surface area plus the ithaka post is so very thin, I am fearful of it snapping. but the connector does fall out

If you guys mean the pin in the photo I attached, then I'm having the same problem with or without the brass pin on the Ithaka. When I first used the Just GG, said brass pin on the Collector tank was tight, but after a few days of use, it plays around and falls off.

well, I just read your post on the ithaka thread about leaking into the battery while having brass pin attached to Ithaka so I guess I have no choice but to remove them ... :( I thought part of the point of those brass pins was for better conductivity as well as being adjustable for 510 heights...we never removed for the ggts's...I hope you keep these posts in stock because they are really thin...I am very careful because I am afraid they are going to snap.
