So I'm pretty sure this company close to my area in houston texas are selling JGG/GGTS clones- i asked which GG they had and they just said, THE GG. Sad as it is, and I hope this is the only sad part, but I am pretty sure they don't even know they are clones. They are selling them for $173, and I was a little to shocked to believe this was actually GG.

I called and asked some questions to find out if it was true and they had no idea what they where talking about, no surprise. I haven't gotten the chance to go by the store yet to see what they actually have. But they are either fooled them selves or have the nerves to be selling these clones as actually GG's. Or maybe it could just be to GGood to be true.

I even asked question about what are the engravings like. This store said it has wings, says THE GG, and has serial number. The sales person even had the audacity to say that since it had a SERIAL NUMBER it has to be a REAL GG (we still don't know which one). I asked if it said "made by imeo" for JGG or "by imeo" for GGTS and they said no. But the sales person was still positive it was a GG. So i asked where do they get there GGs from, and they had no clue.

Just saying this to get some feed back from y'all. I want to go by there sometime this week and see if they are just confused or actually are selling Clone GGs as the real deal. Or if I am just horribly mistaken. Any hints or tips to be certain would be appreciated because I am know that i do not know everything, and there is a chance i could be mistaken.

Well unless they are in the business of buying stuff and selling them at a loss they are s clone or they are selling used GG's for less then classy prices which still would be selling at a loss.

I know fright thats why i was so shocked at them saying that it was a GG. Because it sounded like they truly believed it was a GG. not just like they are trying to pass clones off as GGs, I think they really think they are selling GG's.

There have been allot of new vape shops opening up here, and sadly most all are lacking in knowledge. This must be another one. I might just go by and kindly make sure they understand it is a clone, and ask that they notify their customers that it is a clone or something.

They may not even know what a real GG is. I know I went to a local vape shop and showed them mine. The guy running it had an OpusD but had no idea what a GG was. I think I did see a KTS Storm or whatever they are called though.

If your local PD is anything like the NYPD, aggressive on knock-off products, you could really teach them a lesson by reporting them.

Edit: for the record, a new vape shop opened here in Manhattan, and they advertise that they sell clones (not GG, though). I'm going to drop by sometime, see if they are branded clones, warn them if they are, and if they continue to sell them, call it in to the cops. If Louis Vuitton gets protection for their brand, so should e-cig makers.

Interestingly enough, the website of aforementioned store has removed the clones from their online store (a pdf still includes them, but I suspect that has yet to be updated).

If the owner of a brand does not complain, there is little the cops can do. I suspect if you are trying to be a high-end shop, just the bad PR that comes from selling branded clones should be enough to get you on the straight-and-narrow - provided their customers call them on it, and voice their distaste with their wallets.

In these times it is sad of me to say this but from a vaper point of view, I don't think we should encourage any shop to close at this point in time. Clones or no clones we need more people on our side supporting our endangered habit and helping lives. The copywrite issues can wait until the governments get off our backs. my

Well to be honest there are other nice mods out there equally nice; Private V2, Caravela. It's just that they're .... in terms of functionality.

its all up to personal taste....i for example never cared for the private so much.....caravela ceramic coated (dspins) looks stunning but its unobtanium material....i only deal with mods i can get my grubby hands on quick and cheap

beauty is somewhat subjective, but personally I think GGTS and JustGG are the most attractive mods available...still...even after the explosion of new modders/mods in the last year or so.
I started my "high end" journey with GG and have since bought and sold many other mods, only to come back full circle to my first love.
It's not just the aesthetics though. The comfort of the GG button is just so much nicer than bottom buttons imo. I have some that I use from time to time but way more often than not I find a GG in my hand.
