How are magnets in the switch. I haven't changed any of my buttons over to magnets yet and am wondering if i should order some?
The best I may explain is that magnets tend to soften the button. That also depends on how you position the magnets but it's a "softer" throw. But the spring carries the better performing contact. So performance? Nothing beats the brass spring.

Hello everyone! Finally my first JGG has arrived, what a beautiful piece. I saw it in pictures many times but seeing it in front of you just leaves you breathless. I have many questions though, i hope someone could help me out.
1. I thought the engraving "to my good friend" was only for preorders mine has those engravings (#0855)
2. The venting cap is not like in the pictures with mine. I see in esmoke guru they seem hollow at the bottom, mine has a solid base with 3 holes in each side, is this ok?
3. Is it normal for the telescopic portion to wobble when in telescopic mode?

3. Yes. There is wobble with the telescope. HOWEVER, if you wish to use it in solid mode, turn the tele tube upside down and screw part of the threads into the engraved tube and screw an extension piece (or CT if 350mode) onto the threads you have left. No wobble, everything lines up.

Honestly don't worry about the vent. It's marginal weight difference. That's it. You don't see it. And I am not sure if hollow is made separately. Enjoy it as it is.

BTW, of course I can use the JGG telescope with GGTS, but I cannot completely hide the telescope.

For some reason I still have a small gap even when I reversed telescope. Is this because I don't have the new CT yet or am I doing something wrong?
Gap for older GG base? If that's the gap you still need a new CT. I'm waiting for some myself that I'm hoping fix that gap.

Imeo! I'm sure we have a misunderstunding.
With GGTS you may completely hide the telescope inside the engraved tube. Not with a 18650, of course
, but with 18500 you may completely screw and have the extension sleeve touching the engraved tube.With the longer telescope you can't, as the telescope touches the button body when 3-4 mm. of telescope are still visible.

thats true Otello. But you cant vape GGTS well with a 18500 if you leave extension on it. Spring makes contact but its poor. So on GGTS you have to remove the extension. That way telescopes is shown.
I just got new CT, Thanks Imeo, and thanks Bruce for shipping out so fast. I screwed Oddy and JGG top lid both down 100%. Works perfect. I washed out new Penny and put together first build, will post results in other thread in a day or two. I may even get JGG brass parts and Ithaka new rebuild before Christmas. Team GG is the best, thanks everyone and have a great Christmas. I feel so lucky to be off of cigarettes and part of the GG family.
