How the top cap is connected to the Ithaka base?
There are some tank parts in between.

Maybe there is some wrong terms involves, better to post a picture and show us,

So this morning, I dropped my SS JGG on the driveway and dented up the bottom cap and further dinged up the top cap on my Ody. F$%^. I have never dropped my mods but the moment I get my JGG's I have dropped both of them.

It'll keep working forever, even if you drop it every single day.
buy a second one to look at if you need it to stay perfect.

Got a couple rubber hot mats or something? Maybe those rubber jar lid openers/looseners? They will come apart. Getting the grip is the trick.

I had a bunch of bicycle inner tubes (due to my son and his riding habits) and I cut one up just for this purpose. Works like a charm and they are pretty thick.

The just gg lid is attached to the ithaka adjustable air 510 base.
I wanted to detach them so I can use the 510 for another atty I have.

It looks like they should just unscrew but they won't no matter how hard I try.

Put in the freez for one minute then go to the sink and put hot water only on the lower
Half of the 510 lid,for few seconds.
Then immediately with two towels give it a turn.
It may work it out.

Reason I did it?
Just got both of them and was enjoying playing around with the parts. Then this :(.
Been using the ithaka, which is tremendous but fancied a change and then realised my issue.

Hey no worries it's part of the fun.
Give try to freeze option.

One more thing you can try only if freeze option won't work is to make the
Same in bucket with Ice.

Give a try to first option maybe with adding soup,it will give up evantualy.

I just received my Just GG today. Serial #1311. Must say I'm stoked to be using it. Love the look of it too. Currently running it with a 18500 and a kick 2 with an aspire bdc on top until my taifun gt arrives. One thing though my threads are full of sharp burs; not at all what I was expecting at this price point. All of the connections thread together properly but it's horrible especially compared to my Provari and forget about using my fingers to run some noalox on them. Anyone else had this problem with theirs?

take a toothbrush and soap and work the threads....mine were quite smooth to begin with but I give every new mod a soap bath....no need for noalox....

I do add a smidgen of vaseline to my threads. The conductive loss is small enough that its worth saving wear on threads to me. Noalox nassty nasssty IMO
