Just GG/GGTS they ARE different but there are things I like better about each. Off subject I know just had to put that out there I haven't had time for the forums lately. THIS CRAAZZZYYY CRRRAAZZZZYYY WORRRLLDDD!!!!!

take a toothbrush and soap and work the threads....mine were quite smooth to begin with but I give every new mod a soap bath....no need for noalox....

I can give that a shot but the sharp burs aren't just sitting in the threads. They're still attached. It's like a very poorly machined thread. I've seen brand new threads cut fresh that weren't this ragged. Sharp, yes. But not ragged with burs everywhere.

Can you capture the burrs in a picture? Probably not easily pictured but I wanted to see where they are.

I add Vaseline to all my threads but I've never had metal burrs left from machining on my GG's. If the toothbrush doesn't work maybe some sandpaper. Sucks that you have to do it but it's an option.

Maybe its a machining error Mt. You can send the piece back to me or sand them with a fine sandpaper.

Imeo; here's a pic so you can see; almost everything that has threads looks the same. Was actually easier to catch on photo than I thought it would be. Hardest part was getting the file small enough to post it. base cap threads.jpg Some look rather bad and almost crushed and distorted.

I knew that you would be showing me the venting cap Mt. lol

If you make long threads, then there is no issue. Just check the internal threads of engraved tube or threads of the telescope and you will not see something like this. As for your provari, I am sure that its threads are doubled in length that GGs venting cap. Am I right on this?

If I make longer threads just to avoid this issue (that is invisible on naked eye), I would have add 3 mm on GG, something that I wouldnt like to do

If you want to avoid something like this you have to make threads at 0,5mm, something that I couldnt do because justGG had to be compatible with GGTS

I completely understand that but every part of my GG that has external threads has the same issue though usually not past the first four threads; unfortunately that's all the threads for some parts. Here is the telescoping tube section. battery tube.jpg Not a huge deal. If this is normal and to be expected I can accept that and i'll run them thru a die at work to clean the threads up as they should be.

I see that its always the first thread Mt. I just asked my machine shop and they told me that these are marks because pieces fall down to the machine after they get made. Maybe I have to start shining the threads too.

Thank you for pointing this to me but I do believe that in so large scale all mods are like this. I will do my best to avoid it next time

Hey guys.

Good news, after trying everything to separate the parts I went out and bought a inner bike tyre. Cut it up, griped and presto issue is now fixed.

Thanks for the advice everyone very quick and helpf. I'm keeping the tyre incase it somehow happens again. (Gone back to playing around :))

And it will happen again no matter how you avoid it. It finds you.

I wanted to say that I've had jgg's for almost a month now & I have to say that I haven't even touched my Neme since I've purchased them, & until now, my nemesis has been my favorite Mod.

I have to say that I love the button on these gg's, cuz when I lock it, it actually stays locked in my pocket!! All of my kids, including my Neme, would end up working itself unlocked & firing in my pocket & this hasn't happened with my jgg's. Also the electrical conductivity is really superb as well, which I was skeptical about before purchasing, due to all of the pieces, but straight up as long as all of the brass is clean, the jgg is right there with the nemesis & that has been my best conductive Mod. I can run my kick2 down to 3.23 on the Neme & 3.32 on both jgg's, which is phenomenal, cuz both my king mods would only go to 3.5 volts & then cut off.

Just wanted to throw that out there, I luv these mods & I just wish it wouldn't of taken me 3 years to get into these gg's!
