I've just said this in my blog that I'll upload later but I'm struggling right now with it, love the TS, it's like a classic to me and now the new updated version has been released it just doesn't capture my soul in the same way, that make sense?

I'm sure it'll grow on me in time and love the updates but just that used to and fond of the TS.

Well, you and I agree on that for sure - Looks, engravings, knurled control ring of the 2011 GGTS cant be outdone IMO - I should have said JGG hit wise, CT and connections are much better including the top cap. Also just being able to screw down in 18250 mode too without a stealth cap

These are the most beautiful that I own. To my opinion the Classic GGTS will always be the most elegant to behold, buttons have been changed out to adjustable ones. These are backups to the one I use like them in case it gets scratched or stolen

Yep, I know exactly what you mean.
It took me a while to adjust, it didn't feel as "rounded" and traditional. A little clinical perhaps.

First thing I did was get rid of the extensions and go back to the telescope look.
It grows on you and I prefer JustGG now.

Agreed, no extensions for me, I must have the telescope showing unless in 18350 mode. - 1 extension used for 18650 mode though

No problem to make it TS like with Ithaka on top:

But The JGG look will grow for sure, the more you have been with TS the more time it will take I guess,
but it will come to be after few turns of: I like that better and then again,
you will see the better in Imeo eyes
    with your own. ;)

I only recommend Sharkhide - I am very careful what I put my name to. I spend waaay too much money on gear to worry about what it costs to keep them polished properly. A can of sharkhide will last you a VERY long time unless your like me. Im on second can, I use it for everything.

HOWEVER, you should use what you think is right.

This is just for polishing by hand - its all I do - Capt Steve is expert with wheels, etc

Just use the metal polish. Wash everything first with dawn dish detergent,at least the tubes.( put it on straight from bottle) Then use polish, threads, inside, etc. wipe all off, wash off with dawn again.

THEN polish tube again, wipe it all off polishing well, then ONE MORE TIME - it will shine like a mother. Toothbrush on threads with dawn after first polish.

Make sure you dont use alot and apply with microfiber and polish off with another. I use the ones for glass. My final wipe is with lens paper. The expensive lens paper. Not cheap stuff. I do everything by hand. Sharkhide is best for brass and alum, but works great for all metals. You will not feel any grit in it. Stir it before use. It is consistancy of miracle whip, not quite as thick though.

You dont need the cleaner or protectant
