hey guys, Im a proud owner of a ss just gg, I just received 2 brass extension sleeves from esmoke guru. When i installed the sleeves to my engraved tube it doesnt seem to feel as smooth or the fitment is just off a bit. Is this normal? on my ss sleeves the fitment seems to be a lot more smooth when installed. Can anyone chime in? sorry if this has been asked before. Its not really a big deal but I was just curious if anyone else was experiencing this or if it was normal Thx to esmokeguru for the great service.

Hey Troll., you'll get a GGTS & a JGG

All parts are interchangeable, depends how far you want to take it ..

JGG tube is longer by a one Rethreader compared to the GGTS

Actually I was thinking about the voltage drop. Currently having all-stainless, as said earlier and will be using mostly Ithaca or Odysseus with GG-base.
So do I gain much (or actually less) voltage drop with JGG-parts?

IMO.. I'd change the venting cap with the new Just GG SS Venting Cap Full

and took out the Just GG Axis's SS Cover

Why do you remove that piece?

By this way we bypass the function of the spring, withoyt remove it from the interior of axis.
So we have the spring working but no voltage drop in that that specific point.

Thx for such a great product! I wasn't talking about the threading of the tubes, i was talking about when everything is put together, my new brass sleeves seem smaller then the engraved tube . When everything us pieced together and I run my fingers along the tubes it seems like the edges of seem to be apparent like it not fitting right. Hope that makes sense

ahy, I see search. Thats the nature of the telescope. But no worries, just put telescope upside down, screw it totally on the engraved tube and then put your sleeves on it

I've been having some misfires and just feeling the JGG hiting soft and just mediocre, the new one is still unused so didnt have the oportunity to compare if something was off or if it was only me feeling this way. Decided to polish the contacts to a shiny finish. Wow what a difference, now this is the GG I fell inlove with. If there is someone feeling this way please polish or clean the contacts! I feel like a dummy letting my precious without cleaning her for this long.

I just wanted to share this to GG newbies like myself.

For me it was very difficult to see that the contacts needed cleaning because GG brass contact does not tarnish like normal brass, they look as new but cleaning is necessary. In the past i just cleaned them with microfiber cloth and alcohol, but this time I used some Sharkhide some vererans over here recommend. But i guess you can use brasso and such just for the contacts, polish until you see a mirror finish.

Jul I don't have the shark hide (yet) but you can use Flitz or Brasso or even straight toothpaste with an old toothbrush. All will make your contacts better. There is no one way is the right way-use what you can find.
