Just got a VK passthrough......

.....and i couldn't be happier. Had a Greensmoke before this, & the flavor/throat hit is way better on the VK. Not as much vapor though, but more than enough to make up for the nasty tasting GS cartomizers. One question I have to those who use the passthrough. It works great on my pc usb, but it is not working on my 360/ps3 usb. is there a difference?

A pt requires 1000 milliamps to operate properly The ps3/360 probably does not put out enough amps. I would not use the pt on these. If it shorts out it could damage either one. I use a seperate usb power supply that puts out 2000 miliamps. I've also read a thread here that said to never use the pt on a laptop. It puts too much strain on the laptop circuits.

Oh wow I hadn't heard of that about not using a pt on a laptop... I've been using mine on my laptop for about 3 months now lol. I've also been using mine on my xbox 360 without any problems thus far....

I would consider this hypothetical. It's possible. However, most USB devices that require more than 500 mA of current just won't work when given only 500 mA. For instance, my external 2.5" hard drive adapter needs to be connected to two USB ports in order to be adequately powered.

To update, things have been working fine on both 360, & ps3. I ordered a fruit sample pack, & a menthol sample pack, & so far Smilins special menthol is the best tasting menthol cart i have tasted. Please keep me informed of anyone finds any truth to whether or not my $15 PT can ruin my $300 ps3/360......that would be tragic.
