Just got my kit with two batteries yesterday. I got them to replace my regular eGo-C's as my "out-and-about" PV. It's really nice having such a small, portable VV device. It's so much better to carry around than my Lavatube. So far, I'm pretty impressed! Through first impressions, I'd definitely recommend the Twist to anyone.

My only complaints are that there isn't a battery voltage remaining indicator as on the regular eGo-C batteries, no USB passthrough, and the tick marks/numbers are pretty difficult to read on the dial - I hope they don't get scratched off over time.

Since it's not my main PV, I'll have to spend a day (possibly today) only using the Twist so that I can know how long the battery will last me at 4.6-4.8 V. My worst fear is that my battery will die on me when I'm out and I'm left with nothing to vape!

I made one mistake though. I order all my mom's supplies with my own, so she came to pick her stuff up yesterday. While she was over, she said that she wasn't enjoying vaping as much recently - she wasn't getting the "umph" that she wanted. So I let her try the Twist with a Stardust at 4.6V. She liked it so much that she didn't give it back! She did that guilt trip that moms are so very good at and I couldn't say no. So now I'm down a battery, without ever having the chance to "get to know" it.

Lesson learned: Don't share new toys with family!

Pbusardo did a great review a couple days ago. I've been watching the ego twist but was concerned that it would drop voltage too much and end up like the other multivoltage ego.. not much better powerwise than the regular ego. But he shows that it does get up to the higher voltages and holds them pretty well.

I picked up a Twist battery two days ago to replace an ego battery that got stuck in the on position. I am also reasonably impressed with it. It seemed to hold it's voltage pretty well until a few hits before it needed to be charged.

I know what you mean about the numbers being hard to read, though I don't think they will wear off. They seem to be laser etched into the cap.

I'm not sure if you are familiar with a painting technique called "dry brushing" but I plan on doing this to the end cap to make the marks more visible. A thin brush and steady hand should prevent any paint from getting into the connection. Wipe the excess with a paper towel and the paint should stay in the small laser etched marks.

I pretty much found the same things in my own testing for the review I did. I have to say I'm beyond impressed how well this little device holds the voltage pretty much to the end of the charge.

I got to try a 1000mah version yesterday at my local vape store. So nice. As soon as I break even on my costs -v- savings from traditionals, its my next purchase. But I don't think I want the 1000mah. Just too long. The 650 will be just fine. Or maybe a 1000 for home and a 650 out and about, with my current 650-C batteries as backups. Who knows. :)

I wonder how many people are really dialing in voltages and how many are just cranking it up and going from there. :)

The Twist is really unbelievable at the price. It's barely bigger than a regular eGo and it costs very little more. Glad I didn't spring for $70 and up to get one of the
"flashlight sized" competitors ! Don't want to carry something that big around. Don't need a built-in voltmeter to add more weight. Don't need another charger either.

Mine is 650mah, and I always carry two in my shirt pocket. That covers any failure including battery, atomizer or juice running out. So 650 mah is fine. My battery lasts most of the day anyway.

Yes, it's hard to read the voltage, but the exact voltage is not critical. So I usually twist it about 2/3 of the way to full and see how it tastes and go from there.

Liberty flights still has a few at $20, with only $3 shipping

Here are the test results from the Joyetech website showing the voltage dropoff curve...
Joyetech eGo-C Twist Battery

Probably not much worse than a Lavatube I would guess.

I love my 1000 mah Twist. I don't bother reading the little numbers. I just start at the lowest setting and keep twisting it up until I'm happy with the vape. I didn't even realize the numbers were there the first few days. I use it with Stardusts and Fluxes and it works great! I have a leather pencil case I bought online and the 1000 mah Twist fits perfectly in it along with an extra battery and some extra filled Stardusts.

I've been using one 1000mah Twist for a while now, and it works quite well.

My only complaints would be the hard-to-read markings, excessive length, and the fact that it's a bit tippy when standing up.

I'll probably get a couple of the smaller ones sometime.

I agree that they are excessively long. I couldn't believe they were longer than my other 1000 mAh (USB PT) eGo-T. I would buy a shorter one, but I don't think they'd last too long at a high voltage, and I need my batteries to last me. Oh well, just something else to get used to.

It rocks 1.5ohm Dual Coil Cartomizers and the new Ego DCT knocks about 1/4 inch off the overall length compared to standard DCT's with the beauty ring. It also fits seamlessly since it was designed for the Ego connector.

IMHO, the above setup would make an awesome starter kit. 2 - 650mah Twists, 2 Ego DCT's, throw in a charger and couple extra carto's and you're loaded for bear.

I guess I'm the first one to be a little disappointed. My 1st one died after 2 days; vendor replaced. My new one just doesn't seem to hold a charge as well as my other 1000mahs' & I haven't had it running over 3.8 -4. Would using a carto that's
1.7 to 2. cut use charge by hours? I've actually been wondering if a KGO would give me more use time.
