Loose general rule of thumb is 1 hour per 100 -150mah, getting 15 hours from a single charge sounds like your battery life is good/normal to me.
If you are talking about 4:15am to 7:30am something aint right and has nothing to do with your power settings which are very conservative IMO.
The battery may last quite a while on orange or you may have a charger not fully charging, old, damaged or fake AW batteries or your VTR is defective.
What was the voltage of the battery when you put it in the VTR?

You adjust settings to suite your individual tastes, some folks might like 3.4v others may like 5.4v using the same set up.
With all VV/VW power devices you can adjust either V or W, not both, the are two separate modes whichever you checked or adjusted last is the mode you're in.

4.4v / 1.8 = 10.75w & 2.44a
10w / 1.8 = 4.244v & 2.35a

Welcome!

So, it's only lasting 3 hours?

Many variables here.

Do you chain vape?
How much juice do you go through?
Is your battery authentic?
Is your battery fairly new?

Dual coils will drain your battery quicker than single coils.

There are some batteries that have higher mah ratings. Efest has one that's rated at 3100mah but I don't know if that's exaggerated or not.

You should have several batteries so some are always charged.

What's the voltage on the battery when the light turns orange? I have an itaste VV3 and the button goes yellow at 3.7 volts, then shuts itself down soon after, but the VTR might use different battery logic. My Provari will shut down, I believe, at around 3.2 volts, Vamo at about 3.3 or so. So, maybe the itaste is just more conservative with the battery rundown.

Still, as long as it gets you through the day and back home, it ain't bad.

I mean I believe it's authentic it came with the authenticity in the box and yes I chain vape I drive for a living and it's in my hands basically all day I have the mvp and itwould generally last me almost 24 hours before it needed charging and with this one it's still in orange 5 hours in just hoping it holds out for the rest of the day of work if not I have my MVP on me

I don't have a VTR, but the meter on my SVD (same specs, same chipset?) is highly inaccurate, (or is conservative perhaps a better adjective?). Using VTC 4's fresh off the charger, it reads 4.1. Two vapes later it's already down to 4.0. Immediately after it goes orange at 3.7 volts, my charger (Nitecore D2) reads 3.85-3.89. When it goes red at 3.5, my charger reads (exactly, every time) 3.67. That's a huge discrepancy. I've never experienced battery performance drop-off with my SVD, because it auto-shuts down before I can drain a battery below 3.5 volts.

Carrying an extra batt is certainly easier than lugging around the MVP as a backup, so just take 2 batteries and vape 'em into the red. That should get you through the day.

Unless your went with a reputable vendor, there is still a chance you may not have a authentic battery. Unless your vendor can verify they got the batteries directly from AW. At one point they were the most common faked battery for their popularity.

Do you have the same issues with other batteries? I personally never liked the 2000mah version as it's inferior to the 1600mah spec one's.

How old is the battery? Under normal usage they should get around 500 cycles in it's life time. This would include doing things like resting before and after charging/usage.

Hey what's up Brian. It's the kid from on the bus earlier today lol.

If you could please update us on whether or not your batt die on you halfway through your day or if it ended up lasting the rest of your day.

I know with my sigelei zmax at 3.7v it would show up as half charge. But at 3.3v the sigelei wouldn't fire.

I also have a VTR and I noticed that even after it goes to yellow you still have about as much vape time left as you did when it was still green. Even running it down into the Red for awhile I was still getting good vapes from both a 2000mah and 3400mah battery. From what I have read the yellow comes on way before it really should. In fact I've been vaping on it all afternoon and evening on yellow tonight and it still puts out the same vape.

Get 2 Sony VTC5 they are my only 18650 cells I tried e-fest and aw they don't come close. Sony's hang longer in the mid range than any other cell I have tried. I have them in all my 18650 mods both mech and regulated and get all day performance from them. If that doesn't get it done for you then look into maybe an E- power 3 or an I-stick for an alternate to VTR they both have similar characteristics to your MVP but higher power capabilities giving you more headroom on your wattage needs and charge on the run capability as well just like your MVP. Good luck
