Gotta say I'm really impressed that someone would have the willpower to wait that long. I put my first battery in the charger for about 45 minutes, and was off to the races. If you look at the charger just right, that red light looks green! If your eyes are closed, anyway.
Okay, I'm back... took a little longer than intended.
Took my first hit and got nothing... zip. Realized I hadn't pushed the cartridge in all the way. LOL Fixed that, took a hit, and nearly choked from all the vapor!
I absolutely LOVE this! I do believe I've just quit smoking.
cool thats is how i quit once i got the mechanics of it down...Next your taste buds and sense of smell with start to come back

Heck, the light looked green to me when I unpacked it this afternoon, and it wasn't even plugged in yet.
This was DEFINITELY worth the wait!

going on week four and i can not believe it.... i have learned so much in the last few weeks for reading and talking to people on this forum.... i can't really imagine doing this without the forum and the helpful feedback here. They have helped me pick out the right equipment, juice, filler and it keeps getting more and more fun and interesting....

Same thing here...that's actually what brought me to these forums. I saw an ad for a Blu and about had a heart attack at the thought of the existence of a safe way to "smoke". I quit smoking months ago but have missed the mechanics and sensation of smoking far too much to ever stop thinking about it. My fiance is 150,000,000% against me smoking, and it actually started causing issues with the status of our relationship. As you can imagine, smoking quickly lost the battle of the two. I was so happy about the possibility of us *both* getting our way that I almost made an impulsive purchase of the Blu [especially once I read about their little PCC unit].
Luckily, I'm a Virgo and my instinct to over-research something I knew had to have more to it lead me here! LOL. I never dreamt there would be such a subculture for it, but I'm certainly pleased to find that there is. I would have been lost - and most likely frustrated and disenchanted by the Blu - if not for this wonderful forum.

Same for me... almost word for word. With my boyfriend quitting, I was not thrilled with the idea of being pushed outside even at home, so this probably saved our relationship.
As for the subculture, I'm still kind of in awe over that whole part.
Ive had the Janty Stick for months, and always loved it, wanted to get a cig style e-cig though before the FDA rains fire on us, so I got the 510 a couple days ago. I figured I would still like the Stick better then the 510, but the 510 is awesome, love it as much as the Stick except for the batt life. The vap production and throat hit are amaizing. Hope you enjoy yours as much.
Who did you order from that it took you 2 months to get your 610? If you decide to buy another kit there are plenty of suppliers in the US that have great prices, great shipping which is often free and plenty of stock so you can find what you need. Be sure to check out the suppliers sub-forums that are listed on the main page.

Based on everything I read, I thought the 510 would be a good choice, and it turned out to be a great one! I've been vaping for two days now and absolutely love it.
I ordered one manual and one auto batt, and am finding out that I like the manual a lot better: The auto just doesn't seem be as reliable as the manual, and the hits I get off the auto vary wildly. My next batt order will be all manuals.

It wasn't the delivery that took 2 months... It was me trying to be sure I found the perfect supplier and then finding that they were out of stock on the very model I wanted. Once I found a second choice and the order was placed, I had a 510 starter kit in my hands two days later. (with free shipping)
I just got a Joye510 also. Started using it today and it certainly delivers nicotine! It came charged and ready to go. I think the nicotine is a higher dose than I get from the light cigs I usually smoke. I was puffing away on the vape, and started to feel a little sick. The good news is -- I've only smoked 1 analog all day. Wow -- in 35 yrs of smoking, I haven't had many days with only 1 cigarette. =D

lol, you had me worried there for a minute. I really thought it took you two months to get it. Anyone that has the willpower to wait two months on an ecig should do great,lol I got anxious at one week and ordered another so I could get it faster,lol Good luck to you and have a great time with that 510. It is pretty awesome.
It definitely delivers... After 27 years of smoking, I haven't had an analog in two days (since the first vape) and even better.. haven't wanted them! For me, that's nothing short of amazing.
I did the same thing the first day. I was enjoying it so much, I think I overdid it just a little... Can you get a nic-high?
