Basementcat, I tried all kinds of fillers.....including the PTB. Actually, I always go back to the blue foam. If you haven't tried it, you should. It's the very best....my opinion. Also.....maybe keep working on your roommate about vaping inside....that would help change the times/locations part of the cig habit. Have you heard of stealth vaping? When I'm at a place where I can't/don't feel comfortable vaping, I find the nearest bathroom and just have a couple of drags. Works great and there's no lingering order/vapor. Part of the secret to quitting for me was actually being able to vape....just two or three hits....whenever I felt like it. That way I never really got to the point of just craving a cig. It's different for everybody, I know. But the stealth vaping here and there (instead of saving it all up for that 5 minute outdoors cig break) really worked for me. Good luck. Glad you're figuring it out.....it'll come. The more you vape, the worse the cigs will taste. Pretty soon you'll be in a spot where you have a choice......cig or vape....and you'll find that you prefer the vape. Hang in there......and congrats on having a 7 month old! Babies change your life (for the better!) don't they?

Basement, Ill give a veterans take on this.
1- you mentioned being first few days in...Well, once your body starts to remove the tar from your mouth, it will get harsher. First few days the e cigs seem harsher anyhow, but that part smooths out. The hotter the atty, the stronger the hit as well. All of that will take time to get used to in the harshness area, as well as drag preference combined. It will smooth out on you though. PG vs. VG liquids will make a difference, but not something worth study right this moment.
2- The teabag does flow heavier, but not more so than fluval. Blue fluval has quite the attitude. its a picky creature to mess with. If you want something simple that doesnt flood, use standard factory cart fill, but only use about half of what comes in them. It will work consistantly, and well. It will also trim back that harshness, because it doesnt flow FAST, only fast enough..and im a heavy vapor thats tried it all..The only time this WONT work is with really thick liquids..that DOES require blue fluval, but cut to exact cart size.
3- when topping off, you will find some liquid and condensation on the section of cart that slides inside the atty. Get used to wiping that off when toping off. If its leaking while connected, its just not a tight fit, and you could just replace the cart itself. (joye DOES produce loose carts on occassion, its not cignot fault)
But only 2 days in, your still fresh, so take it slow, and dont stress it. Youll get the hang of things in no time, and it will smooth out.
Craving cigs will happen for a few weeks, to some more than others..just vape away until it subsides. Its also a mental thing giving up your best buddy for who knows how many years for your new best buddy. Dont force yourself or stress it..its the stress that makes you want to smoke, especially the stress about quitting smoking :p Just vape away, and allow time to transition. The first few days are always teh toughest because its simply something NEW..kind of.

I haven't tried the blue foam, because somebody here said that if you burn it it's toxic. I went with Scottyballs's ZFM Zero Filler Mod and love it. I do still leak very slightly sometimes but that's just something you get used to and get better and better at preventing and dealing with over time. I haven't quite gotten the hang of getting the exact perfect hit every time though, but i've only been vaping a few weeks. I get the feeling that like everything else it's kind of an art as well.

(The Big Chief, i'm totally going to try that half-filler trick. Thanks!!)

As for cutting down the analogs to zero: don't give up. You're most of the way there already! I started with 26mg RY4 and have only had a small handful of analogs since the day i started - basically, 0-1 a day - and only that because i was curious. I realized early on that vaping is just a million times more badass than smoking! Like a kid with a new toy, i'm proud of vaping because it looks so futuristic and weird and frankly awesome. Good luck, but i have a feeling you won't need it ;)

(I also bought my 510 from Cignot. Man, those girls are awesome in every single way!)

Ill explain the filler thing...factory batting is usally dense, and bunched at the bottom..straighten that out..fluff it out, kinda like unfolding and accordion, the use about half that..VERTICALLY..it must fill the cart bottom to top, just not so densely. If you unfold the bottom portion, it will lengthen the batting, and you can trim off the excess when done. Putting it back in is best with a good pair of tweezers so it doesnt bunch on you in the cart. Though if you roll it in fingers to tighten it up and goes in, then fluff it with paperclip would work also. Done right it wont pull out, stick in bridge, flood, burn..all that mess, and is actually simple. And you have all you need with every fresh cart....I figured all this out AFTER doing ptb, plug, blue fluval, white fluval...you name it. I keep my stuff simple, and easy to duplicate. 801 carts have by far the BEST batting, PERIOD.Love that stuff..each cart will do 2-510s. :) All of this is for standard atties..all of em. If your doing LR 510, use blue fluval cut to exact size of cart, same with 901. Flows just right to keep up and not burn for a good 8-10 drops.
