I prefer USPS to UPS, because the US postal carriers have keys to the building, where UPS doesn't. I've received packages sent via UPS that I wasn't around to collect and have had to wait a day (sometimes over the weekend, super weak) and stay at home most of the work day to get my mail. This is especially terrible when I'm expecting like, textbooks or computer hardware.

UPDATE:

My package is finally out of the NJ limbo!!! Was processed in warrendale PA, which means it will hit my town tonight (if it follows the same path as the last package from halo), which.... means it will be here tomorrow!!!! yay for vapemail

However, my "outside" juice order still hasn't moved... Oh well, I won free juice (hopefully ), and my package is coming tomorrow!!! Who is happy? This guy right here!

So.... great news!

That coil, that was not working and shutting down my batteries, I was tinkering with it today in anticipation of my vapemail and.... It works again!!! I don't know what the problem was, but a week out of commission did it some good... The only thing I did to it was pull out the wicks so I could see exactly what was going on inside, put the wicks back, threw it on a battery and it was just as it was when it first came... Any ideas on what the problem might have been? because I have no idea what did it...

:)

If the coil contacts the side of the assembly (from the positive side), it creates a short. All you have to do, is tug on the wick a bit, to straighten out the coil.

Okay, I'm glad I got it working again....

My vapemail just showed up... One black VV batt, two tanks, two mini's, a replacement pack of coils, 30ml Tribec, 30ml Sub, and a 7ml of Malibu (to even out my points)

It was all freezing cold, even the battery feels very cold to the touch, guess I still have to wait awhile

So.... me and my consistent problems. The threading on my new VV is (I don't know what to call it). When screwing on the tanks it gives up way to much resistence to the point where I have to turn it way to hard. When I do it gives of a nasty grinding sound, and the tank is moveable (left and right) no matter how screwed on it is. Upon further inspection the very top thread is not even and is thicker in spots than it is in other spots. Also about halfway down the threading, in between two of them there is a spot a few mm long that is the same level as the threads. It still works just fine but I don't want to ruin any of my tanks using it.

The top threading is just fine (for the mini tanks) but sadly I can't see myself finding a solution to it. I think I'm going to just send it back to halo for a replacement but I figured I would stop by here before I contact CS to see if anyone has a comments/suggestions or a similar story.

I'm thinking there wouldn't be JUST ONE bad one come off the line, so maybe others have the same issue. I would figure they test all the batteries before they ship them out but it looks like mine got
overlooked or managed to slip through undetected.

Call or pm customer service and let them know. I think they are open on Sat morning. If not they will get back to you Monday.

Penguins, I have 2 VV Triton batteries (Midnight Blue & Princess Pink) and neither one have any problems screwing a tank on, they most certainly don't move left & right while on a battery. It feels exactly the same as my 650 Tritons when screwing on. Did you screw this same tank on a different battery and it do fine? Did you try a different tank on the VV battery? Just asking so we can eliminate if it is the tank or the battery threads that are the problem.

Definitly contact CS at Halo that is not normal.

Yes, I tried all my tanks.... all the regular sized have the problem (all 4), but both the mini's work just fine (but they use separate threading), all of the tanks work on my other (650's) just fine.

The tank doesn't sway while on the battery, but the slightest nudge will push it crooked.

I checked and customer service shut down today at 11:00 and won't be back on until Monday.

It really really sucks, but what is one to do besides get it replaced. I hope CS can send me a shipping label or refund me the shipping cost.

Yeah, I've dealt with some S**tty CS in the past, and everyone says they have good experiences with Halo CS.

I still find it weird that nobody else had this problem since I doubt only 1 bad one came off the line, or maybe people did, but just not anyone here on ECF.

Maybe it's God's way of teaching you patience? EL OH EL

Well, I sent a very thorough email to CS explaining my issues. I am hoping they can respond early Monday since I am moving next Saturday and time is hard to come by through the process.

Has anyone here ever had to send anything back to them? Is it possible they could mail me a shipping label to save me a trip to the post office, which isn't that far, but I am going to be so hard pressed for time this week

----

I got an email back from CS, they will replace the battery for me, but they won't mail me a shipping label. However, the gentleman said that they will refund the shipping cost to my card once they get the battery. So I'm going to go hit the post office monday.

Did you read in the little instruction manual that the first time you charge the battery you need to leave it charging for 8 hr (even if the charger shows blue) then use it for 20 min and put it back in the charger for another hour? I didn't do that with one of the batteries (wanted to try out the toys) but am doing it for the other. It could be that it isn't holding a charge if you didn't follow those instructions.
