Hey everyone!

I just got my first ecig today. I got the Ego-Tank (one silver and one black) with the super 1000 mhz batteries and three bottles of nicotene-less juice from Juicy Clear (Peach, Pina Colada and Tobacco). I am eager to quit cigs, cuz I can't seem to catch my breath sometimes, and I just hate all the stink of cigarettes! I usually smoke around 20 cigs a day.

I'm hoping this is going to be the solution to my horrible addiction. I'm a designer, and I sit and design all day and LOVE to smoke while I'm think-tanking :p So hopefully my brainstorming sessions will be filled with nice fruity juicey vapors!! My battery is charging right now so I havn't had a chance to try it yet... but will update!

I would like to know what are the best sites to get ejuice with nicotene. I'm from Montreal. Im sort of confused... are they illegal? I know the government obviously wants to start taxing this, under the pretense of lacking health studies, but is there any actual confiscation or whatever going on? I want some nicotene in my ejuice!

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your decision to dump cigarettes. For some folks it is easy. Others find they have to work at to quit smoking. Don't beat yourself up if you decide to smoke a cigarette. Some people smoke and vape through the transition.

Here is a link to the Canada Forum:
Canada Forum

You will find friends & neighbors there that will be more than willing to share info on Canadian Suppliers. They will also be up to speed on the laws, shipping, etc into & out of Canada.

Hope this helps a little,
Happy Vaping & Welcome ~

I loved the packaging! So nice sleek and smooth! I'm actually thinking about going into and designing some e-cig covers and maybe some cases. I would love to have a hot pink e-cig! But I'm getting ahead of myself... I still didn't even try them... still charging! 4 more hours to go... and I can't wait!

Hello suzanka and welcome to ECF. I know the instructions say to charge 8 hours or so before using, but in reality you don't need to do that. Once the light on the charger turns green, it's ready to use.

I don't know why they don't update their instruction manual/sheet.

The tanks need a "special" technique to get the most out of them. If the atty is new, blow from the battery end into a tissue to get the "primer" out of it, then drip a drop or 2 of juice down into the "spike" inside the atty. Insert the tank, then 3 or 4 quick short hits without pressing the button when you first put the tank in. Make sure the tank is seated ALL the way in, sometimes it doesn't want to go that last 1 or 2 mm. Then take long, slow hit.

Hope your tank atties (sorry, atomizers) last more than a few days Suzanka as that can be a problem with tank systems - and by that I don't mean to criticise the Ego tank as I've never had one ... but I have had others and they've frankly been rubbish.

The great thing though with having something as widespread as that is you can also use cartomizers and regular atties when things don't work out.

Good luck with it.

    in a cave, eh?
As your first kit, you might actually like your Ego-T. The standard-resistance tank atomizers mute the flavor, though. So, you might consider getting some low-resistance tank atomizers for your kit.

You probably want to play around with your kit for a while before purchasing more accessories. Some members have had a real problem with leaks. Which has put them totally off Ego-Ts. You can deal with leaks by using silicone tank caps and silicone tank sleeves. And if that doesn't help (and if you're handy), you can try fiddling around with the atomizer wick.

As previously mentioned, the Ego-T tank atomizers come filled with primer that's nasty to vape. You can blow through the battery connection end of the atomizer into a paper towel to get rid of most of the primer. Then you can drop 10 drops directly into the atomizer and give it 10 minutes to soak into the wick.

You can also put Boge LR or SmokTech dual coil cartomizers on your Ego-T batteries. You might want to get an eGo cone to slide over the cartomizers.

As far as juice goes, Health Canada has banned the sale and import of nicotine juice in Canada. But, you can get some good suggestions from the Canada forum.

    Good luck with your kit.

The eGo-T has been great for some people. I, however, have had nothing but bad luck with them. 7 A-type (cone) tank atties and 4 B-type (cylinder) atties. The A-types seemed to work okay but didn't deliver enough vapor or TH for me. The B-types -- well, that was a fiasco. The first two I got must have had something wrong because they burned very hot and literally burned their wicks to stubs. (Although while they worked for a single day or so, the vapour and flavour was out of this world! :D) The second two were better but still didn't deliver on the vapour or TH -- though they were a bit better than the A types. None of them lasted very long. Someday, just out of curiosity, I'm going to get some good silica rope (2500° C rated) and replacing all of the wicks and seeing if they work any better. But as they came, the none of the tanks worked for me, which was a shame because I was really loving the concept.

But keep in mind I need a really bold TH, so if that's not your thing the tanks may work awesome for you. That, and Joye may have improved the design by now; my experience was a few months back when they were still pretty new.
