Dual coils mean twice the coils to vaporize liquid, and because they run at very low resistance (1.4-1.6ohms) they run pretty hot and produce massive amounts of vapor, flavour and TH. However, they suck battery power like candy, so they're not really recommended for eGo batteries. They work, but they will shorten the overall life of your batteries.

Gotcha. Thanks for the info!

Hey mindfield... one last question... how long will one of those 510 cartomizer last if you are a heavy vapor? Say a week??

Depends on the resistance. Normal 2.8-3.2 ohm single-coil cartos on a 650mAh battery could last anywhere from 6-10 hours depending on how much you vape, or at least they did for me. On a mega 1000mAh battery you could get as much as a day and a half. Keep in mind though that performance drops off as the batteries discharge, so you'll start to notice cooler vapes and less TH as the batteries wind down. That's normal for average batteries that aren't designed to have higher performance curves.

Lower resistance cartos means they will draw more power from the battery, so batteries won't last as long using them. The lower you go, the more power they draw, the shorter the usage time, though you're still talking hours of use. Usage time is less still when using dual coils.
