Don't forget your multimeter, too...

E stock premade wire meters out @ 2.0 ohms.

And if u don't hv a multimeter, u can't just make a guess and hope it's 1.5. It helps to hv a dmm handy.

Btw, if u're planning to use it on a pv @ 3.3v constant, it's gonna take a 1.0ohm coil to give u e best experience. And a 1.0ohm coil will give u TH tt's akin to taking a toke on a cigar.

Btw, nextel takes a bit more work to bring in cos apparently, it is not allowed to be shipped out of e States. Silica wick will suffice, imo.

Actually used it on a Lavatube yesterday and fired it up with 4.5V and it was awesome. I used the wire that came with the kit and no i didnt do much tweaking.

Guess my Ego batteries are not doing it justice. Flavor and vapor is great.

By the way, where do u guys get your wires from? Would like to get my hands on more and so some experimenting.

Necormancer mentioned Nextel wicks as well. How can I get my hands on those?

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Good for you. and for all people, regardless of rebuildables or not, please learn the relation of ohms to volts and watts (ohms law la lol) this will greatly help in your purchasing of atty/carto in regards to type of pv u using(voltage ur pv runs at) and also easier to find your sweetspot knowing which ohms at what volts works for you (individual preference).

also nextel is not allowed to shipped out of states so... either you have to find some ways or like some of us (incld me) just stick to fibreglass/silica wick. lol. (too much hassle to ship nextel. the trouble not worth it i find)

and oh ya, lastly, takes some further reading and practice to coil ur penelope at 1.5ohms and below. will work good on ego. dun go below 1.2ohm. u'll short out ur ego. overcurrent/wattage. read up what it is. hehe.
(p.s. i shorted a freshly charged 16340 3.7v (will read around 4.2v when fresh) 550mah batt b4 when i mounted a 0.9ohm genesis line haha. luckily was aw imr. didn't explode. chuck it already though)

You should google for penelope reviews and guide.

Seriously, using a rebuildables at only the default config is very much like driving a porsche at only 1st gear..

If you don't like it the way it is, rebuild it to your liking, that's how it is, else just get a stardust, use and replace as you wish, at default config..

No hard feelings bro, but please do some research and match it with a proper batt before posting comments like "Not very impressed with my Penelope"..

Seriously, if you're to use a Provari at default config too, I don't think you'll be very impressed with it too..

Point taken but please look at my 1st post properly before jumping to conclusions. I did mention that I was using it with a default Ego type battery and am asking if it would be better on other platforms which I found out that it did and am happy. Very happy in fact =D

And congrats for being smoke free for over a year!

Its a pity I can't edit the title tho.

No kick required. Just wrap a 0.9Ω coil and you'll burn your mouth off! lol...

Actually what I'm thinking of is whether the Kick regulates the voltage at a constant rate for the output? Let's say 4.2V constant out of a battery thus draining it rather than depend on the regular drain towards 3.8V levels... does the Kick actually do that?

correct me if im wrong, Kick regulate the output which is Watt at constant rate. therefor the voltage of the battery can be variable from 3.4v to 4.xv and kick cutoff voltage is at 3.4v

e.g. if using a 1.8ohm atty or coil, kick is set to 10watt. kick will constantly supply 4.24v to maintain 10watt
if using a 1.5ohm coill or atty, kick is set to 10watt. kick will constantly supply 3.87v to maintain 10watt
