So my order came with all the things i asked for:
1 shorty auto battery
1 shorty manual battery
5 coolcart tobacco shop sampler cartomizers, 18mg
5 wow tobacco shop sampler #2 cartomizers, 11mg
1 yellow case
1 wall charger
bonus: 4 cartomizers, 2 in 11mg and 2 in 18 mg strength (margarita and apple cobbler)

CHARGING QUESTION: is my battery fully charged and ready to use?

i want to try it now, and ive heard they come precharged but i dont think these are. i read the v4l faq and it says the LED on the wall charger will be red while charging and turn green or blue when its charged. when i plugged the battery into the charger, the tip of the batt's led flashed a few times and went out and the LED on the charger itself is red. now ive also read that shorty batts LED stays on while charging but its not on right now, it just flashes when plugged in. so what do i go by? the battery's LED being out meaning its charged (remember its a shorty) or the red LED on the charger?

thanks for the help

Opps, that seem like a pretty sterile reply to a new member, sorry I had to grab the phone.

Hey Yellow, welcome to the family I hope you are vaping away while reading this. I love the Short Batteries, they have the closest feel to a cigarette, fit in your pocket and are just fun to hold.

Now, they only last 1-2.5 hours depending on your vaping. Now to answer your question about Short Batteries and recharging. No, the l.e.d. will not stay on during charging. Place batt on battery charger, blinks 3 times, charger indicator goes from green to red, when fully charged, charger indicator light goes from red to green.

When the battery is fully discharged it will blink 10 times if in use. You will be able to tell if it needs recharging, experience is key, but all of the sudden vapor production decreases by about 90%.

Have fun, first day with you new kit is always a blast!

just for reference from the user guide:

Charging
When you first get your new VK battery it's best to charge it for 8 hours before using. This will increase the life and power of your battery. When you plug your battery into a charger the LED on the end of the battery will flash about 5 times to let you know it's now charging.
Shorty LEDs stay on when charging, the LEDs on regular and Xtra long batteries go out when charging.

The info is a little old there yellow. We are in the process of updating our user guide.

The folks above had it right. Most times the batts show up 80% charged or so. Pop one on the charger and start using the other one right away. It will not hurt a thing.

I am glad your order came in the way you wanted! Please keep us updated on how it's going and do not hesitate to ask questions here....this group of folks is about as helpful as can be. We ALL want you to have a great experience and get away from analogs!

i like the red LED cuz it looks like its "burnin/a cherry"...i feel like a lil kid with a new toy

and yes valley girl, the sound is awesome

and im glad i did get a shorty, its still long, i cant imagine what the regular length is like LET ALONE the XL, it must be as long as a pen

The diamond tips are pretty - crystal tip instead of the plastic ash cap. Lots of different color combos with the battery color and LED. It's been said by a lot of people that use them that they perform better than the regular batts (but I like the regular ones just as well). The delrin tip - is actually a drip tip, "delrin" is the plastic material it's made out of. It's part cool looking mouthpiece, and part functional as you can easily drip the "juice" into it without having to bother popping off the white end cap.
