I just left them a message. We'll see what their plan of action is I suppose.

We had 2 out of 6 Volt batteries behave that way. One needed the center post adjusted, the other needed the threads cleaned. Both are fine now. Needing a center post to be adjusted is not horribly unusual (because differences in cartos can move the center post around, as can cleaning, they are flexible) but I am not sure whether the one that needed threads cleaned had had juice spilled on it (by my roommate) or came a little dusty or something from the factory.

In general, not having tried the Mistik, the only cigarette-sized ecigs we ever found that were better than Volt were Blu disposables. The fact that it is all glued together means none of the issues you can get with reusable ecig kits. However, after 2 weeks of vaping those we discovered severe wallet damage. Now I'm on Volt X2's and 1 eGo Twist (which somehow keeps ending up set at 3.6v.....)

I have been vaping a volt for a week (no stinkies!) and while I love vaping, I don't love the volt. Just ordered a kgo starter kit. I am having the same problems you are. I hate that I need to swap out three batteries all the time to keep going, that I have to suck so hard my jaw hurts, and that it makes this crazy whistling sound. My hubby looks at me funny every time like I am crazy. I tried the mistic first too and didn't have these issues. Can't wait to try the kgo. Hoping it will last all day and be easier to get a good draw without all the noise.

automatic batts sucked

...or....rather....don't. Kinda like having a vacuum cleaner that doesn't suck!

I am not saying Volt has the best 808 cartos, I actually like Bloogs better (2.6 ohms instead of 2.8) but none of their stuff is supposed to be as BAD as the trouble some folks are having, and I trust them to fix that.

I have also realized that some of my own problems might be from switching back-and-forth between hard-draw carto tanks and easy-draw clearos, ce3's, and novas. If I draw hard on the latter, I get leaking. If I draw softly on the carto tanks, I get...nothing.

So I might have to pick one "family," at least for enough weeks to see if one particular set of habits fixes things for me.

I have to say the only whistling and airy draw problems I've ever had with any batt including Volts was fixed by either cleaning threads or raising the post very slightly with a toothpick per some of the youtube videos.

I also have to say that once I got my Volt X2's I have trouble working up enough patience for the 78's, and now that I have a variable voltage device, I prefer that with anything that heats up very much (and therefore changes flavor with voltage)

The Volt X2's are GREAT with a mini-Nova + 808/510 adaptor though, and the ce3's seem OK with thin pg juices, OR if I snip the wicks a little so the ends are varied-length and not all jammed between the atomizer and the sides of the tube.
