Got my Volt!!!!

Just thought I should let y'all know that I finally got my Volt earlier today in the mail. It's the black battery with an orange LED. Next time, I'm ordering a different colored LED like blue or something. Orange just looks weird on the black. lol

The Volt cartridges fit on my Mistic battery, so I essentially have two batteries now. However Mistic cartridges don't work on the Volt. That's ok. I'll just buy some blanks for the Volt next payday and fill them myself.

Speaking of filling blanks, I also just ordered Monster flavored e-juice from Mt Baker Vapor. First though in my head was "damn! Those liquids are cheap!" I hope it tastes good. I guess I'll let you know how it works when I get it. It's the 18mg one, which is what I primarily use.

And, the 555 flavored liquid that I purchased with my Volt tastes like popcorn. Nothing like tobacco. lol But it does the job.

Oh ya, I saw many ECF members recommending it when I was lurking around looking for the best one that would suite me. So I ordered it before even registering on the forum. lol

I knew I'd have to have a cig-a-like if this was going to take the place of smoking for me. There was no way I was going to use something that didn't remind me of an actual cigarette in some way. Otherwise, it'd have felt funny to me and I'd be craving analogs often.

Can't wait to get the juice soon though. That'll help me to save money now. I've spent too much as it is on the ecigarettes. But, I desperately wanted to quit smoking and start vaping.

Not quite sure why pple complain about the battery life on volts. I only have to charge mine once every few days.... though I don't hit it hot heavy and strong, and always charge with the AC adapter and not the usb....

I DO have MANY batts and switch flavors fairly often. But recently I'm at 3 flavors, and only re-charge the volt 78 batts about every 3 days.


It lasts a long time for me!

And wow again, every three days? I've switched to X2s, but I was charging my 78s 2 or 3 times A DAY!

I think it's important that the first PV you get when switching over from cigarettes looks like a cigarette... But trust me, if you keep up the vaping, you're gonna be ordering the X2 and/or the VV device from here in a few months =D

I like the black batteries, too, and I hate the orange led. I order mine with red, which I do like, and green as well. My batteries last 2 to 3 hours if I'm vaping non stop, but they last a good long while normally, when I'm not using them as pacifiers. I usually have 4 flavors going, with color coded batteries.

I tried a mall kioske ecig some years ago, but it just frustrated me. The Volt starter kit I got in Oct. last year got me off cigarettes instantly. My first order consisted of a chrome 78mm auto with blue LED, a black 78mm manual with orange LED, and a chrome X2 1300. While I though I would need the cig-a-likes to quit, I found 78s just didn't last long enough for me. Having the PCC allowed me to keep one on a charger at all times. I found that I much prefer the X2 for its long life and - seemingly better vape. And now I don't care one whit whether it looks like a cigarette. I also have the Volt Spinner and a VAMO and use them most of the time while my 78s have been moved to backup status.

You may find that you're happy with the cartos - many do. But don't be afraid to experiment with some of the other delivery systems (clearos, Nanos, T3s, etc...)

I actually still have all those flavors. Did give away or sold some on classifieds, but seem to mainly stay with 3 to 5 these days .

Still like all the others, and switch out occasionally, but mainly seem to go back to the same ones. Might be partly due to the CE3s. Those changed the flavors in some juices to where they're not as good as in a carto, and I got tired (lazy) of topping off all day long with the carto LOL!

Also am starting DIY so will see how that goes.

Can't wait to try the new Spinners though

Uh oh. I think my Volt isn't holding a charge. Crap. This sucks. I put it back on the charger, again, and we'll see how long it lasts after.

try cleaning the threading on the battery and on the charger....debri can prevent a good connection.

Ya, I did that several times. But, I put it on the charger this morning, and it finally took a good amount of time to charge. So it might have just been in my head.
