Somewhere
I have that stuff, and I really like it, but it's not working out for me as stated where I got it from
Tobacco Absolute - One Stop DIY Shop Store

So, I will try Dan's idea next.

But what I did was make a super concentrate of .5ml's TFA TA (yes the thick Tar looking stuff from Bulgaria)
1.5ml's of Everclear
and shook the heck out of it
Then add 12ml's of PG and shook it again
It sat for several hours but it is separating.

So, right now, it is in my UC in a 50ml flask with topper on
I will see if this works to mix it better.

I had made it up according to their recipe, and it works and is really good, but it does not hold it's flavor at all
I think this is due to the PGA evaporating and taking the flavor with it.

So, i came searching for a better way and we will see if this works, or if I have to start over and try Dan's way.

If my way works out, I will be using it by the drop.

PG is a flavor carrier so you shouldn't loose flavor with PG and it mixes very well and no seperation.. Everclear I can see that happening. Also you do not need to UC the concentrate.

I think this is an "asked and answered" question and I'm having some sort of brain issue today so please excuse my ignorance in advance:facepalm:

So once heated and ready to pipette/syringe the first example below is a "base" of a bit more than a liter of tobacco juice/flavor you keep on hand (and not have to repeat for awhile) to use over and over again at roughly 6-10% in whatever recipes you might create. Correct?

Thanks,

Norman

If you got pure TA, that comes in an 8ml bottle and looks like tar :) here is what you do:

First you need to warm it, place a cup of water in the microwave and get it to almost boiling, then place the TA bottle in the hot water. Let it sit for 5 minutes. Now remove it and use a diposible pipette, use 1 drop per 10ml. The heat will make it thin enough to work with easily. I usually make a Mar tobbaco flavor as such:

2.5ml of TA warmered
500ml TFA Cotton candy (EM @ 10% in PG)
500ml of seedmans commercial tobbaco flavor TOB506

If you want to do it the simple and cheap way use...

8 drops of TA
2.5 oz (75ml) TFA Cotton Candy
2.5 oz (75ml) of seedmans commercial tobbaco flavor TOB506

Use at 6-10% in your juice mix.

Hope this helps.
Dan

4 drops TA in 10ml PG with a dash of EM is working for me so far. I mixed up 15ml of RY4 double with 3 drops of the TA solution. A few days later I tried it and there was the hay flavor. It must be strong enough at 4 drops. I guess it needs to steep for awhile? The TA solution that is. This is my first foray into DIY tobacco. Long steep times and maybe a longer learnng curve. Got plenty of recipes to try though. :vapor:

you are correct. The first formula heat then add 1 drop to 10ml makes your concentrate. I found 1 drop weak and 2 drops were needed.

then use that concentrate for your final mix at 6 -10%. I found 7 - 8% good.

The ry1 has a bit of a hay note so I don't think it's the TA giving you that. I'm actually vaping the hangsen RY1 with a dash of vanilla as I type this and I detect a hay note.

Correct, I mix by the liter so the first example would flavor approx 10 liters of juice :)

Thanks for the replies guys. I had a hard time concentrating yesterday. I understand it. And Dan likes 1 drop per 10ml PG and Danny likes 2 per 10ml PG to thin it out.

Do you also do the first recipe you posted with the EM and Seedman's as a sort of "stand-alone" tobacco recipe (after adding PG/VG/Nicotine of course?)

Thanks,

Norman

Yes, That is a great base that you can add nutty flavors to or vanilla etc...

I somehow forgot this part of the instructions. I now have a 1mL syringe that reeks of Tobacco Absolute with a big yellow stain that won't come off.

Thanks for the suggestions on this flavor everyone. This flavor is on my recent order with TFA and was preparing several recipe approaches to using it for the first time. These suggestions are great. My TA flavor is on the way with a few other tobacco/caramel/honey/molasses/coffees/egg noggy stuff.

Will post experience with this one in a few days.

Well the Tobacco Absolute I got was a clear yellow liquid in glass bottle. I was prepared to do all this prep work on the darker stuff but that's not what I got in the mail. Interesting.

Just checked the link to TFA on tobacco absolute and it does not show anymore AHHHHHHHHH
I will call Linda tomorrow!

my TA comes from RTS. it is 50% diluted and is very dark and very strong. I think I would be better off to cut it but not sure how. Just add PG and cut it to 10%? not sure.

If it is 50% diluted I would try 2-4 drops per 10ml of PG. I would heat both the PG and the TA to help them mix by lowering the viscosity.

Turns out, before running into this thread, I ordered Tobacco Absolute Blend (PG) by Wizard Labs. I do like it though. I mixed two 10 ml bottles (24% Nic) each with 8 drops. Steeping those for one week before trying again and then recording a couple of accent flavors for experimentation.

I thought it would be the darker juice having seen the attached pic next to it but got a clear flavored variety. Purchased glass 8ml bottle at this page on Wizard Labs site.

Again, very happy with the flavor thus far and will be combining with a tiny hint of bavarian cream in near future but it's not what others have been describing thus far.

I went back on this thread and just discovered member dannyv45 said he got his at TFA. I recently received a flavor order from TFA but didn't include that TA. Will do so next time as I'd like to try them both. But for now, their site says We are out of stock on tobacco absolute until about aug 20.

Seems that you got an already diluted and ready to use TA so you just need to add it to your mix.
