Okay, so this device is amazing and I can't wait to start dripping with it (already used a 510 to 808 connector and vaped some). I also got some Cisco 1.5ohm LR 510 atomizers (2) with a drip tip. So here's a few questions that I have regarding this setup...

I notice the atomizers don't have a cart with filling (just a plastic end piece which I assume I won't be needing if I'm using a drip-tip). I know these atty's aren't primed, so I dropped 2-3 drops onto the bridge, waited about 30 seconds, and dropped 2 more. Screwed the atty into the 510 housing on the SB and noticed it didn't go down very far, but it appeared to go in - but not far enough in like the 510-808 adapter went. Is it supposed to go flush against the unit? So I took off the end piece, popped the drip tip on and tried vaping - nothing. No vapor, no sizzling, nothing happened. What am I not doing?

Also, do the SB's need Noalax right away? I've read that they come protected with the stuff already but I'm not sure. No big deal, I live near a Lowe's and can go get the stuff.

Anyhow, your help's always appreciated. Thanks in advance!

okay, i figured it out. the other atomizer seemed to fit right in without any problem so i got a q-tip and cleaned off the threads of the original one that wasn't fitting properly. my problem was i didn't want to force it in which it seemed like i was doing at first. holy crap. so i dripped for the first time. this seems to be one of the best ways to enjoy some nicquid! good. scary good.

After a while and those attys become old and you order more, you should try debridging them ;) (Or, if you're feeling zesty, try it now). The bridge is simply that bump that consists of a metal "tuning fork"-looking thing, covered with the same mesh that surrounds the ceramic cup (for those who didn't know, not trying to sound condescending). Its purpose is for cartridges, and allows the atty to retain juice coming off of the filler material in the cartridge.

But, if you're just dripping anyways, the bridge is merely in your way :) When you feel you're up to it, take it out! There isn't an atty in my house that has a bridge ;)

Congratulations on the new mod  I love getting new stuff, always puts a big ole :D on the face.

Welcome to the Silver Bullet club. No, you do not need it right away as your threads came with it already on there. I do clean my threads with a soft cloth and reapply the Noalax every so often. Check your box that came with the SB, they usually include a nice maintenance sheet on how to care for it. If you have found an all dayer, and a carto lover. Consider doing a nice 5.5 ml tank. I have both the JTank and Liquindater. Fresh battery and a tank fill in the morning and I am good to go with my baby bottle all day.
