Gotta say, your post did sound unusual: Just joining, and already making your own NETS. But you don't say how long you've been vaping, or what you've been using, so it may not be that unusual.
Some good advice above, and I highly recommend the DIY links, and learning about NET techniques. It'd not only make it safer, but probably give you some great shortcuts so you wouldn't have to learn everything from experience.
I used Wizard Labs and Bull City Flavors to get started in DIY. But I also hear great things about Nicotine River, and am considering getting my next order of nic & vg from Nude Nicotine. I haven't tried doing NET yet, but it's probably in my long term future. I smoked American Spirits myself, and have wondered what a cold maceration with those would taste like. But I never considered half-smoking them first.
