*WARNING! NOOB RANT*

Well, just put a clean atty onto my automatic 510 battery. Did a quick little blow into it to see if it was fully dry. Well, it was good for the first fraction of a second.

Then it started the orange glow, which still wasn't bad, as it was only that one tiny puff, and the battery should kick off almost instantly. Just a quick little dry burn (wasn't my intention though).

But a fraction of a second later, and the battery was still going. And the coil got hotter and whiter. And the battery STILL didn't shut off.

And then 2 seconds later.... Nothing. It was dark. It's life was over. Upon autopsy, I found that the coil had burned thru, and the entire wick was a crusty, crunch black mass.

:censored::censored: battery........

Well, just bought 3 manuals from the classifieds a few hours ago, so hopefully this wont happen again.

Absolutely brilliant description, MS. I'm especially fond of the "Upon autopsy," bit. :lol:

So anyway. Glad you've ordered yourself some manuals! When I was still most commonly using Vapor Kings [KR8 units], I had an equal amount of manuals and autos. Despite the fact that I refilled cartos, I would frequently use my autos with them (I had 2 Diamond Series autos - no manuals - and they're just so darn pretty! :oops:). I must have good luck, because I never lost one. In fact, I still have them all and pass them out to people who are curious about vaping. On the other hand, cartos might just hold juice a bit better in comparison to atty's/carts. No clue.

I'm truly sorry about the loss of your auto. I'm sure it lived a good life. You'll be happy with your manuals though, I'm sure of it. Vape on, brother. :smokie:
