Just made my first flavor order at Wizard labs, didn't get everything i wanted but I'm planning on making another order when they restock their bavarian cream flavoring. Never made my on e-liquid but i've been doing alot of research so hopefully I'll be ready by the time my supplies come in. My flavors are:

Caramel TFA Flavor
Coconut Candy Flavor (TFA)
Juicy Peach Flavor (TFA)
Cantaloupe TFA Flavor
Sweet Cream Flavor (TFA)
Vanilla Swirl Flavor (TFA)
RY4 Asian Flavor Concentrate ( TFA)
Kettle Corn Flavor (TFA)
Sweetener Flavor Concentrate (TFA)

So far I'm planning on making a creamy caramel with the caramel, sweet cream and vanilla swirl. A AVE Hype knock off with cantaloupe and peach, maybe a creamy coconut and a caramel corn... Any other ideas or anything I should be looking for next order?

Thanks

Hey there! I've just gotten started too! If you type TFA into the search these is a thread of DIY recipes using TFA flavors only. I'm sure you've already seen it but just incase you haven't there's a bunch of recipes in the DIY sub forum. For your next order I'd probably add some of the other flavor enhancers like smooth, koolada, sour & ethyl maltol. Also some lemon & vanilla. I was told that these are a must by a lot of advanced DIYer's. They're supposed to help smooth & round out your mixes! Good luck!

I'd go for A Coconut Cream, using a bit of Smooth for extra body (if u have it).

What is "smooth"? Is it kinda like Ethyl Maltol? What does it taste like? I've read the description but still can't figure out what it is... I'll probably end up getting it, just waiting till they restock on Bavarian Cream for my next order

peaches and cream is good stuff- go low on the cream, I would go:
Peach 12%
Sweet Cream 2%
Sweetner 1%
:2cool:

Can't believe I didn't think of peaches n cream, thanks.

If your looking for a tobbaco flavor with sweetness RY4 is good by it self or maybe with a little caramel added. If tobbacco flavor is not your bag then stay away from it.

If its sweets your into then

Coconut Candy Flavor (TFA)
Sweet Cream Flavor (TFA)
Vanilla Swirl Flavor (TFA)

Could be an intersting combination. can optionally add a little sweetner to taste. Most importantly use low percents and add more as needed and make small batches 5 - 10 ml to test so you don't have to much waste.

The Coconut Candy is the only coconut I have actually liked, and I've tried a bunch of them. The rest just add a kind of tiredness to a juice, and not a true flavor. TPA CC nails it. I'm vaping it right now, at 10%. I love it mixed with TPA pineapple, which is a spot on true flavor.

Yes, the CC with vanilla swirl and Sweet cream is very good indeed. Another one of my favorites.

The RY4 Asian is the only RY4 I like. Very caramel, but not like TPA Caramel Candy, which is also really great.

I always make a little test batch of about 5 mL of each flavor, just to get to know them, then start thinking up recipes to use them in. That way I make less bad recipes, and its easy to just add a few drops of one or another to a carto.

What's you're flavoring percentages for the Candy Coconut,Ssweet cream and vanilla mix?

To be honest I have not made a set recipe with these. Still thinking about it. If I did I would probably try something like 6% CC, 2% SC, 2% vanilla (either swirl or ice cream), if I want 10% flavor total. But I will often just make 10% juices for each flavor, and drip into a carto as I vape. Maybe start with the vanilla and cream, and drip in coconut as I vape. Once I feel I know what I want, then I will make a recipe and fill a tank. I use Boge LR cartos probably 80% of the time, so I tend to drip into them as I feel. Maybe I vape the above mix for a while, then drip in a few drops of a chocolate I made, to see how it plays with the rest. Mine are all VG juices, and I don't tend to use a lot of sweetener. The Coconut Candy is a pretty sweet flavor already. A little TFA Bavarian Cream would be good with this too.

In terms of mixed flavors to make a single recipe, I only have a couple of those. Most of the time I am meandering between flavors in a carto. And when a flavor is too much, I just start dripping in unflavored for a while, which I vape a lot of.

smooth and Flavour Art's MTS Vaoe Wizard are additives that mellow out juices and reduce acidity. I use Vape Wizard in dark flavors like tobacco and coffee, never used smooth but I hear that it is the same as Vape Wizard.

Vape Wizard can be found at My Freedom Smokes and Smooth can be found at most TFA retailers

The problem with vape wizard is it's a tobacco flavored additive so I would only use that in tobacco based mixes.

Best cream I've found to be is Flavour Arts "Fresh Cream".

Its very natural tasting

All others taste artificial to me (TFA, VZ, Capella, FW)

I've not liked ANY "Coconut" flavorings, all miss the mark.

I've never tried FA's fresh cream, Is it fairly neturial taste wise or does it have a hint of sweetness or other flavoring. I'm looking for something to bring out the creaminess in a mix without adding additional sweetness or notes of some other off flavor.

For instance I have a mix that I love it's a tobacco blend with a hint of caramel and just the right amount of sweetness after it's fully steeped. The problem is the caramel has to distict of a top note and if I reduce the amount by .5% or even .25% it's to weak. So the flavor strength is perfect but to distict if that makes sence. I think adding a creaminess will meld the top note perfectly. Ive tried various cream type flavors but they add extra sweetness or some off flavor I don't want. Marshmello is about the closest I could find but theres still a little somthing extra it adds that I don't want. I know I've commented about vape wizard in my previous post but for this particular mix the tobacco is already perfectly smooth and equally blended so vape wizard will be no help here and will actually mess up the complexity of the tobacco's I've blended.

Danny have you tried Lorann Naturals Creamy Caramel? It is a deeper caramel, not the high notes of TFA Caramel Candy or RY4 Asian (both I like, BTW). Too deep on its own for me, in general, but a very nice addition to tobaccos. And it does have a creaminess to it. No PG, too, which I like.

FA "Fresh Cream" is just what you're looking for, Danny. I don't detect sweetness instead a thick cream.

FA "cocoa" is also very good....its like a powdered light chocolate, not very sweet....a bit of a dry choc just like cocoa powder

I use 1-2% cocoa to round off tobacco....I hate sweet tasting tobacco....YUCK

I'm actually using a straight caramel from Nicvapes that I found to have the truest caramel taste of anything I've found. The problem is not the caramel I'm using. The problem is the prominance of the caramel as a top note. I'm missing a certain creaminess to meld it all together without it being over creamy or the cream adding flavors I don't want.

The fresh cream sounds like what I'm looking for I'll add it to my shopping list for next week.
