Hey guys and gals...I just ordered my first "real" pv...I'm not new to vaping..nor have I smoked an analog in 15 yrs. I am a chewer, that got turned onto vaping when my job went tobacco free. So...I've used the common ones, like green smoke and mistic for a couple years, refilling the carts with my juice of choice, thus saving a fortune...but today I stepped up and ordered a ego twist kit from sweet-vapes.com. I've looked for weeks for an ego twist "starter"kit and finally found one. It comes with 2 1000mah batts, a charger, 2 mini novas, and a case. It ran about $85 with shipping. It was a lil more than I wanted to spend, but I felt buying it all separate would be just as much, and I knew I'd need at least 2 batts to keep the vapors flowing. I'm not sold on the mini novas yet, I may need to order some clearomizers or what not, being that all I've ever used was carts that I refilled myself on the green smokes and mistics...I'll see how it goes, and I'll post updates when I get it and try it out.

great choice I love my 1000 twist i get a good long time out of it from home to work and back. good luck on your new adventure!!!
and as long as you dont go nuts buying things the cost is nothing a few months from now. the novas not for everyone but they are pretty reliable and care free, and a decent way to get going.

have fun!!!!!!

Welcome to ECF and congrats on your your new gear upgrade. I have several Twists and love them. The superior vaping experience was a wonderful surprise when I upgraded to Twists from my Green Smokes although I still use those as well.

I'm not sold on the mini novas yet, I may need to order some clearomizers or what not, being that all I've ever used was carts that I refilled myself on the green smokes and mistics...I'll see how it goes, and I'll post updates when I get it and try it out.

If you are looking for clearomizers I would highly recommend the Kanger M3s. I have 5 Vivi Novas that have treated me right but I prefer the much clearer taste of the M3s. It's easiest to fill them with a blunt needle-nosed bottle or syringe and they take quite a long time to dry after rinsing them out but I find the better taste is more than worth it. I use the Vivi Novas with the anodized aluminum tanks for plastic unfriendly juices.

Stormy' Vapor has the Kanger 510-M3 Clearomizers. Vapor Beast also has the 510 Kanger M3 Clearomizers for a couple dollars more but they have free shipping. I've ordered more than once from both and they have shipped my orders right away. Vapor Beast offers phone support.

Good choice. I got my first twist kit from sweet-vapes. They are great. Have ordered lots of accessories from them since. They stock authentic vision V3's and novas. Always had fast shipping and great customer service. Congrats on your new kit. Good luck!!!

My issue is, I'm a fireman, and an avid hunter so I need whatever I use to be able to stand up to the abuse that occurs in my line of work and lifestyle...granted, I know none will hold up to water and drops to the floor very well. I just want one that wont leak in my pocket or break from being in my pocket. That's kinda why I've stuck to the cig type for so long. I can stick it in my pocket, not know it's there and grab a puff now and then when I want to. I realize the ego twist set up is quite a bit larger, and the novas are somewhat fragile so I may end up keeping a cig type available for when I'm on the go, and hunting and such. I guess since I haven't received my kit yet, I'll have to just experiment when I get it.

I think once you get your Twists you will definitely prefer them to any cig-alike battery. It's the length of the 1,000 mAh Twists, 120mm (4.75"), that makes them iffy for being pocketable. The length makes it much easier for any pressure exerted on the ends to break off where the juice delivery device connects.

These models function like Twists but are shorter and a bit fatter. These shorter Twist class models are lower mAh so you may need two of them but they should be be much more pocket-friendly.

650mAh]E2 Apollo Twist VV Battery 650mah
Size:Length 72mm (2.83") - Diameter 20.6mm (.811") — at it's widest point

Vision eGo Spinner 400mAh Variable Volt Battery, Black
Length: 78mm (3.07") - Diameter: 14mm (.55")

The Mini Viva Nova is actually longer than the standard size.
Vivi Nova 2.5 - (not including threaded connecter or drip tip)
Length 1.69" - Diameter .75"
Mini Vivi Nova 2.5 - (not including threaded connecter or drip tip)
Length 1.81" - Diameter .63"

If you are going to use Vivi Novas you should get these flared cone thread covers. The flare at the top supports the Vivi Novas making them less vulnerable to snapping off in your pocket. This one works with the standard size Vivi Nova EGO Stainless Steel 5ml DCT Tank Cone and this one is for the Mini Vivi Nova, EGO Stainless Steel 3.5ml DCT Tank Cone.

The Kanger M3 is 2 1/4" long including the drip tip. That works out to be about 1/2" shorter than using the Vivi Nova with an average length drip tip. It looks like it has been beaten to death with an ugly stick but you can use one of these thread covers that makes the M3 very stable on the Twist.
