Ordered the Mini today just to see what this Reo was all about. Also got a tip, and a couple attys from the Reo site...

Put in another order for some batts and a charger from Oveready, another $100...

Tried to order a HH.357 but they must be out-of-stock...

Hopefully, I can gain some experience with using the Reo and eventually get the VV Grand.

Initial investment sucks. Will probably be at least 6 months to make up for it, but at least I wont spend it on tobacco..

Im pretty excited to try this out!

He ships mods out daily...so presumably...it got shipped at the latest next day. Have you not received your shipping confirmation yet?

Well, I did order it yesterday (Friday) and received an "Order Confirmed" email shortly after. My guess/hope it will ship Monday..Not a big deal.

I cant wait to get it! How long does Reo take to ship in-stock items?

It will seem like forever but Rob ships quick when you get it you'll wonder how you ever lived without 1 and will decide you need a back up which you won't but most likely will get 1 anyways Just saying:D

Ya..it could be he & the crew are taking the weekend off. If you don't get your shipping documentation on Monday, be sure to PM him with your email that you used to place your order. :)

I'm sure you will love when you get the learning curve down. I just got mine about 21 hours ago. I'm not loving the hassle free vaping (more of a like)but still in the learning curve stage. I can say this one.........it works. I have only had 1 ciggie since starting and that was when I was totally flustrated cause I had flooded carto but being as this is my first time vaping at all I had no clue what I had done. I ordered mine on Tuesday night and recieved on Saturday.

I used to. These mods were originally built around those batteries. But over the years and after much debate with those who are much more knowledgable about batteries....I tried the AWs...both the IMRs and the ICs. I'll never use the Ultra or Trustfire 14500s again. They just don't work as well...bigger voltage droop and less reliable vaping time over all. They will work and you can use them...just know that you will be missing out on a better vaping experience. :)

I can see how high discharge will give a more consistent vape over time. I just like the convenience of low voltage cutoff. Puff away until it quits, charge, and go again. No testing or wondering if "my batt is dropping too low"..Im sure with experience I will be able to tell when its getting low, I just dont know how many batteries Ill kill learning the process:)

I have a very good understanding of lithium batteries due to other hobbies.

One thought I had was to integrate a protection PCB from a protected battery permanently into the REO, that way I can use the high-discharge batts and still have protection convenience. Some simple soldering is all it would take.

Im kicking myself for buying the Pila IBC charger, because I already own a CC/CV lithium charger for my RC stuff. Its capable of charging up to 6 cells at a time. All I would need is a 4-6cell AA battery holder, modified with an IBC for each cell, again all I would've needed was a balancing harness and a soldering iron! (I thought of this AFTER I realized 14500 was AA size)
