It sounds like you overpaid quite a bit. I hope it keeps you off cigarettes, but maybe look into the MVP.

Meh, the MVP seems like a toy in my eyes (due to its cell phone charging ability), it is something I've looked into, but as of right now I prefer the cylindrical mods.

I'm sure I probably overpaid a little, the site I usually order from was sold out of the Vamo so I needed to switch things up.

That is a awesome set up OP, i just recently got rid of my Vamo v2 but i'm curious about the Aspire. Everyone has been raving about it.

As I said man, when I get it, I'll definitely post my opinion of it on here. I'm really pumped to get it, both parts were sent this morning; I should get the Aspire before the Vamo since the Aspire is shipping from NY to OH, whereas the Vamo is from Cali.

The ProTank mini 2 doesn't have 510 threads for use on a mod. I agree that it's a great tank but having to put an AeroTank base on it doesn't do it justice.

That to me is the problem with most of the tanks - the 510 interface.

The 510 interface became popular imo because you could have started with a simple carto; then when you upgrade to a tank, as long as the tank was 510 threaded you could use your same battery.

But that 510 thread interface is just too damn unnecessarily small to hold a big tank.
screw it down too tight and you get center pin problems
often people would leave it loose on top to get better airflow
a tiny fraction of a droplet leaks down into the 510 threadwell and you get gurgling, plus some of that liquid is going to likely get down inside the electronics and cause problems eventually.

At least the aerotank base is supposed to relieve some of the problems.

Ain't it wierd how the miniprotank has the good solid 14mm base without congestion while the protank has the tiny 5mm cartomizer sized thread?

I've spent way too long trying to come up with a legit counter-argument. I don't have one so you win this round.

P.S. I agree with you more than I'd like to admit. :D
