Hey all. I've been doing a lot of reading here on the forum for the last few days and decided I'm ready to give it a try. Just ordered 2 Joye 510 starter kits for the wife and I along with spare atty's, carts and lots of flavors. Got to say that I've got my hopes up with reading all the great posts here. 2 packs a day each at $50 a carton is just out of control.

We got 2 batts each with the starter kit but should I go ahead and order a few more batts now or can I wait till I order more juice after we decide what flavors we like out of the 15 or so 5ml bottles I already ordered?

Thanks for the help in advance. :)

I would say go with what you have for now, most move on later to an Ego or something with a long battery life, until you use it for a while you wont know what you need.
Your batteries will last about 3 hours steady vaping and the other battery should be charging, it will take about 2 hours to charge,
the Ego is the 510 on steroids, very long battery life . So give it a shot first then decide later.

Sounds like you have done your homework and you ready to win the battle for you and your wife. Way to go!!!
I agree, wait till you try your new PV out and the liquids as well, that way you will figure out what liquids you like best and can order larger amounts of your favorites. Remember your taste buds will change too, so if you try one and you don't like it don't toss it, wait a week and try it again. the liquids will change as they sit and cure as well

Hello there! I quit smoking analog cigarettes just a couple of weeks ago and I also did a lot of research before buying a 510. I only purchased one battery and atomizer and a PCC because I knew that I would want to try different devices.

I now own a KR808D-1 as well and am in the market for something bigger like a screwdriver or if I can justify spending the cash, a GGTS. I know that it's supposed to be cheaper switching to electronic but all the awesome devices will force me to find a 2nd job!

At any rate, good luck to you!

I can honestly say that if you want an "End All Be All" device you should start looking at 6v devices. When I vape in privacy or in areas where I don't care who's watching I'll vape with my copper. For nights out at the bar I'll use my more discrete devices that look a little more like a cigarette which makes your 510 perfect with a pcc. In the end it makes no sense to buy each device, get a particular battery style you like, whether its the 801,901,kr808 or the 510 battery and get adapters for different attys, it will keep costs down while allowing you to experience the different vaping experiences that each atty has to offer. Personally I love the 801 batteries (great battery life), i run my 510 cartos, 901's and 510's off of them and I also got my copper with an 801 fitting since I had the adapters. The adapters should run you $2.50 a piece at mad vapes if you decide to go that route. Now I have several batteries that I simply don't use anymore cuz I had bought entire kits instead of the best aspects of each. I hope this helped in some way!
