I love using a drip tip as a mouthpiece on cartos - most people do. I started because V4L's WOW cartos (KR8) can be really hot on the lips. But there are many more benefits like the wider stream of vapor, bringing the vapor in beyond your teeth which helps avoid gum irritation, and the ease of the removing the drip tip to check the stuffing, or removing it (with carto off battery) to add
juice.
Drip tips for 510/901/KR8 vary in size mainly just due to the thickness and hardness of the o-ring on them. I find KR808D-1 cartos to be sort of medium in size - smaller than dual coils (which are only for fat batteries and mods and which the fancy Cherry Vapes Ming and Pawn tips are made to fit), and KR8 cartos are a bit wider than 510 cartos and atomizers.
MY best fitting KR8 carto (which I use as a mouthpiece on V4L, Volt and Bloog cartos) is the black delrin drip tip from V4L.com. I never use metal drip tips on cartos due to the central wire that loops up on V4L and Boge cartos. The Marbled Vase drip tips from GotVapes fit OK too - they look similar to Ming but a bit smaller. The clear vases at Gotvapes came with a thicker o-ring and are too tight. The swirled colored ones at LiteCigUSA.net and Madvapes seem to fit OK. My fave though is the plain black delrin from V4L.
And re actual dripping - you can drip on a manual Volt battery with a standard resistance DSE901 atomizer and drip tip. If you do not have a manual battery then use DSE901 cartridges but that's not as convenient for testing new juices.
