Just ordered on 2/2/10 the Joye510

So I am new to this forum and to the ecig I picked up my first smoke when I was 9 I am now 53. I can not wait to get it. I searched all over to find the perfect ecig for myself and husband. We are needing and wanting to quite smoking for sometime but just could not find the right method. Hopefully this will do the trick. I will try and give an update as to how we are doing. Oh and thanks for having me here.

I, myself smoked for many years and quit the day my 510 came in. Havent touched a cig yet and never will again..

You can do it and the fine people on this forum can help with anything you may have a question with!

Congrats and welcome, The 510 did for me, 1 month without an analog cigarette. Go easy and get used to it, it is a great one for the former heavy smoker. If you don't like the taste of the prefilled carts, don't worry, it is a common complaint. Menthol is a little better in my opinion than the regular, but you will be buying juice and refilling your own carts in all likelyhood. Don't throw them away, there are a lot of good threads on refilling and a lot of good vids on youtube also.

Thanks for the very warm welcome. I have tried and so has my husband to quit so many times, not enough fingers and toes to count on. LOL But like I said I searched for a long time and decided to quit in the month of February. I can not wait to get it. I ordered it from Cignot because of all the good things I read and even looked the company up on the BBB website. I then found this site and joined up. I am mostly a lurker though but do hope to give updates as me and hubby embark on this endeavor. Thanks for the good luck wishes, we will need them.

Just had to let everyone know that I ordered my ecig last nite and just got an email saying it was shipped. I can not believe the service from the ladies at Cignot. I sent an email this morn to ask if I could changed from the auto to manual and received a reply back shortly and also some great tips from them to. Boy now all I have to do is sit by the mailbox and wait.

Hi and I'm so happy to hear of your descision. I smoked for 50yrs. myself. I used to say 35+ cause 50yrs sounded so long. Anyway I tried everything under the sun to quit, as I'm sure you have, and this is the only one that has worked. Had a little trouble at first learning how to vape but with the good people on this forums help I've been smoke free going on three weeks and I don't have the slightest hint of an urge to smoke. Best of luck and make sure to keep us posted on your peogress.

I'm quitting with my 510. You and your husband can too.

I didn't try to go cold turkey from the analogs. But in the first 5 days I went through a pack. Each day was fewer urges than the one before.

Upping the nicotine in the juice I ordered helped a bunch. I am starting my 3rd week. Last Sat. & Sun. I had one analog each day. Monday was my first smoke-free day in so many years... Today will be my third smoke-free day in a row.

Don't get discouraged with the flavors, you will find something to your taste. The urges become less, but upping the nic level may be needed to get the urge undercontrol.

Hope you and your husband enjoy vaping as much as we do.

I quit on a 510.

Some of my fav liquids so far are Johnson Creek peach and expresso and the freedom and newpure from the Halo lineup.

If I had it to do all over again I would start with liquids over 20mg strength. I wasted some money trying to start low and go up.

Don't forget you are still going to detox, you are only getting the nicotine not the thousands of other things that are in tobacco when you burn it.

Drink extra water and get some more sleep and it will help.

I am just so excited knowing that my Joye is in the mail and coming to me. I will probally have lots of ?'s but I do believe on this site an answer is just a post away. I did order the strongest efluid that they had (i learned about the efluid from this site) I do believe I have the will power to quite just need a little help is all. After my kit gets here I will have to get one of the banners that shows how much I am saving. Hey you know what I should take the money I would have spent on the analog's and spend it on myself say something nice and pretty. Waiting very patiently

I like to say " if I can do it, I believe anyone can"! I smoked for 50ish years, tried,also everything to quit with no success, started vaping my 510 on Oct. 23, 2009, and havent wanted or NEEDED an analog since.

I received my Joye 510 kit yesterday. I must say one of the things that impressed me was the way it was packaged. I am a really big recycle person. I set out enough bins for my whole neighborhood. So I was really impressed that the ladies at Cignot do care about the environment. I do not need any fancy packaging. I opened the package with my husband and we looked at everything and then went on to try our first ecig. It was a bit strange at first but it was great. I told my husband that this is the wave of smoking. I had made up my mind to quit this month and I do believe that with the ecig I can. I thought it might be hard to use the ecig the whole day because yesterday I learned that a friend of the family had died (she will be missed by all). But when I did research the juice I choose the strongest one. I felt that because I have been smoking for so long the stronger the juice the better and easier it will be to quit. I will be able to do a step down with the juice. My daughter came over and saw the ecig and took a puff and now she wants one. Hopefully she will be able to quit to. Everyone have a great day.
