You might have accumulated leaking juice in the switch assembly. If you remove the nut around the switch and gently lower the inside round board you can unplug the assembly and clean the switch. I used rubbing alcohol but I'm sure vodka would work too. This worked for me after a long round of dripping and some leaks and might get you back up and running. Good luck!
