Not that I know of... Maybe? Don't quote me on this... I THINK the CGRs are the hybrid type. The NCRs are Lithium/Cobalt. The NCR18650PD might be a hybrid type but I'm not sure.

All I did was start with the AW 1600 and check it's results against every other 18650 in the list. There were a couple of LG batteries that could be charged to 4.35 volts and they killed everything. Unfortunately they require a special charger capable of charging that high, so I skipped over them.

If anyone know how to charge a 4.35 volt battery with anything other than a hobby charger, let me know. I imagine that they'd be worth checking out.

Here is the Orbtronic 2900 that is listed in the Comparator
Test of Orbtronic 18650 2900mAh (Black)

These are protected batteries, no doubt their causing some confusion for folks looking to see the results of the new 2900 hybrid

Yes I did, Not bad, but both the AW and Samsung beat it. I'll post up later once I break down the numbers on them.

Wow... I'm kind of surprised by that. Then again, that's why testing is important. :)
Thank you again for taking the time to run the tests. I know you're slammed with work so I know it squeezing it in had to be a bit of a challenge. It's very much appreciated! :)

Question... Have you tested the MNKE's? If so, how do they compare to the group?

Hi guys, I have a noob question, will the Samsung INR 18650 or Panasonic NCR18650PD 2900mah perform better at sub ohm?

No clue... If the Orbtronic 2900 mAh are re-branded NCR18650PD then the Samsung wins... But... I don't know if that is the case.
Battery test-review 18650 comparator

This is a great thread, thanks to all

Is there any info out there on MNKE performance akin to what's in this thread? I can't find any, really strange
I haven't either. I was hoping that Dave would include the MNKE's and the Panasonic NCR18650PD in the tests... Maybe someday... Doing these tests takes a fair bit of time and Dave is a busy guy.
