How do you patch your batteries if you get extremely tiny nicks on the wrapper that expose bare metal on the battery itself? It seems like this sony wrappers are kinda weak. It seems counterproductive to my wallet and the environment to through out a battery with a tiny nick. But safety is first.

A bit of adhesive tape (Scotch) should do the trick. You could also cover it with label maker tape if you happen to label your batteries.

Thanks, I've used a tiny bit of electrical tape, but the tolerance of the mod tube only lets me use a little.

If you could get your hands on some surgical gloves you could use the finger sections to slip on to the battery. It's thin enough that I'd think it wouldn't hinder it's use in the mechs like regular electrical tape.

29mm Heat Shrink Wrap from Fasttech. I bought some to have if I ever need to use it. I'm sure you can get it from other suppliers too. Figured $0.84 for a meter of it was hard to pass up
