I seemed to have "scuffed" "scratched" or "nicked" the green plastic wrap on my battery while removing it from the charger. Should I toss it for safety reasons? Is it possible to repair the green covering with tape or something else? It is a very small nick the size of a pin head and I can just barely see some metal underneath. I'm obviously ready to throw it out and get another but for right now, is there a way to safely repair, and use it (in a mechanical)? I hope I don't get too many face palms saying "throw the damn thing out!" cause I kinda want to say that to myself.

With an opening that small I would not worry about it too much. The danger is that if the battery makes contact with the inside of the mod tube it will bypass the switch and fire continuously, so you might want to not leave the battery in the mod if you're not vaping it. If you can put a small piece of electrical tape on it for a bit and it still fits into the mod, that would be great.

Here's how you fix it properly. You'll need some 29mm heat shrink tube. You can get it from a lot of suppliers, not just Fasttech. Here's how to install it.

Hope that helps :)
