After days of browsing the various mods available and with my head spinning, I finally purchased a Reo Mini. I did sort of want a different color other than the red and silver, but I waited too long. I'm sure I'll love it regardless, though.

Anyway, I now need to purchase other things and have a couple of questions.

3 batteries were recommended - should I purchase 4 in case one doesn't work or dies right away? Where is the best place to purchase them?

Some folks say to purchase only the protected batteries, but another says the unprotected battery in the Reo is okay?

Because of these new purchases, I can't afford the Pila charger right now. What other charger is recommended as being very reliable? Should I purchase 2 chargers?

I would like a couple of colored drip tips? Where can I purchase those?

YAY...I'm so excited! Now, I'm going to be stalking the mailman. My mailbox is located at the end of a long drive, so unless I watch for him, he's going to automatically leave a slip rather than walk to the house. RATS!

Rar, I just saw that you have read the whole thread. Yes, the AW IMR 14500's are DEFINITELY the best battery for the Mini. They are unprotected, but are "safe" chemistry. The unprotected batteries that you NEVER want to use are unprotected Li Ion.

As to vendors, Get your attys from Cisco, and pick up some drip tips there (or get the 2 atty + dt special) and your batteries, charger and multimeter from RTDvaper, lighthound, oveready, or superT

Well, I thought I had everything all ordered for my mini, but I forgot the multimeter. I guess I can purchase that at a hardware store, right? I hate to pay more shipping charges. Now the wait begins. :vapor::D:banana:

I also purchased a reo mini last week. I found this site that has everything you need for reo accessories, including a multimeter, atomizers and drip tips.

RTDVAPOR.com

I tried RTD, but my batteries were out of stock. Through another recommendation, I ended up getting my batteries and charger from Super T. $6.89/ea for the batteries and $12.75 for the charger.

On your drip tip question, it may not be "shipping prudent" for you but I found that Halo's red anodized drip tips are a perfect match for the red Reos. I like Halo juices so the cost/shipping factor doesn't affect me. Some people don't like metal drip tips. Have fun with your new toy!

I like the Halo juices. CoolMist is one of my all/most of the day vapes. I'll have a couple of delrin drip tips with my Riva, so I'll use those until I re-order from Halo. I'll have to remember the drip tip. I've never tried the metal trip tips, so I'm not sure how I'll feel, but I'm willing to give them a try next time. Thanks for the tip.

The aluminum drip tips are smooth but very cold feeling. The delrin are smooth and just feel better to me. I am just talking regular tips, not the different shapes. I have tried the plastic 306 tips and so far they are fine. I have not had the issues of them cracking. The cannon tip, and whistle tip are taking a little getting use to.

cherry pawn drip tips rock my pink toe socks, especially the red & black one on a red or black REO! The pink & green cherry pawn looks fabulous on any woodvile. Of course the aluminum ones match great with whatever color reo you have. My red one looks great with Red Grand, Purple matches my purple mini exactly & silver matches my silver mini exactly. The aluminum ones are cheap too.

Please read this about batteries.........protected or not. The photographs are from so called "protected" batteries.

p.s. you don't "need" a multimeter...........but if you feel you do, I got mine for $5 shipped from the USA on ebay.
