Just bought a Reo Grande, battery/charging questions

I'm surprised at how quick postage was from the US. I might have to start ordering my Nic from there too
Im itching to get my Reo, and im already having a look for my next one hahah

Don't just get any battery !!! The Reo Grand manufacturer ( Robert ) suggests using and only using the AW IMR 18650 high drain rechargeable, in either 1600 mAh 0r 2000mAh, not the 2600mAh ( protected ) don't use flat tops either. 18 is 18mm wide, 65 is 65mm long, 0 is cylindercal. Some batteries that say 18650 are actually 18680 as they are 68mm long and will wreck your firing switch or the spring or both as it's slightly too long. ( that's what she said........lol ) by 3mm. Go to Reo mods website and the phone number is there if you'd like to talk to Robert personally, he'll answer the phone.

Thanks for the info guys, so it looks like the 18650 it is. Ordering one pair now, and I'm pretty sure that battery is supported by my charger

So tell me guys, how do you like your Reo's?
Did you end up buying other mods because you weren't satisfied? Or is it the mod of all mods?

I hope so, been looking for work for the last 2 weeks, I can't afford to keep buying mods lol

In four months I've bought four Reos and they are definitely the best of the best! And bear in mind that I'm an old cynincal

The only glitch to buying one Reo is that you'll have to buy another one...at least!... for a spare, and another one for the beauty... and another one...and another one...

I got my AW IMR 18650s from the supplier that Rob recommends on his site. And I got the same batteries you go (the AW is a sticker on the battery). I have also noticed other sites with the same battery and sticker.... Im 99% sure you are fine! My batteries have been going strong (one charge lasts me at least a day...and Im a chain vaper!)....

OK, my Reo is onboard with the delivery driver now! Customs clearance in 1 day is the fastest I've ever seen
And my Nic juice just touched down in Sydney today
I love it when a plan comes together

Anything I need to do before I use it?
I see theres some smudge in a baggie which i'm gonna assume is noalox.
Should I put that on it now? Or can I fire her up right away?
Documentation says to apply some if needed. What defines "needed" hahah

And how long should I charge the batteries for the first time?
Till the charger light turns green? Or is there a set time for the first charge?

Oooh pretty! Dabbing a little Noalox on won't hurt. If your 17670 is a protected 3.7 volt battery that's safe to use in an ecig and it will fit, there's no reason not to do it.

One thing...load that puppy with a little bit lower strength juice than you're used to vaping. You're going to vape yourself into a coma the first few days!

Usually, there is a dab of Noalox applied when shipped, so you should be good. Needed is when you clean your mod thoroughly, apply some when you're done. You don't have to....but it helps, for most of us anyway...there are some who don't use it. When you notice an inconsistent vape as if power is not evenly being applied...then it's time for a quick wash...and then fresh Noalox.

These batteries don't have a memory that I know of, but they usually come partially charged (about 80% or so) so it shouldn't take long to charge. And yes, till the light turns green. You can probably vape right now with one of those batteries.

The Verdict:
This blows the Apex and the Revo outta the water I love it

At the moment I only have a bottle of Alien Visions PG Hype24mg, which i mixed 50/50 with some pg since its too strong
I didnt like it when i first got it, and its my last bottle that contains nic, hahaha
Now for my nic juice to get here so i can try out my new flavours.

Del's apple Pie (never tried before)
Del's ultimate pipe (my fave)
Snickerdoodle Cookie (another fave)
Lychee (another fave)
Coco-Mango Deluxe (never tried)

Haha, the nic was sent priority from china about a week before i ordered my reo lol
And the original order was sent over a month ago on July 24, which never made it outta china according to the tracking, the shop kept telling me to wait, and only resent after I got upset, not very good customer service and i wont be ordering from them again
I was hoping the original one was just misplaced and would come in also giving me double my order for the inconvenience, but no such luck, it never made it outta the china sorting station
I thought ordering a month in advance was enough, lol, I'm gonna try and make sure i always have an extra bottle so I don't have to live on the Nic poverty line again hahah

And I LOOOVE the green! I just wish I had taken more care when ordering and got the all green one, not just the green door. Well it gives me an excuse to get another one, my mrs knows I'm an OCD perfectionist freak lol

Yay!!! Glad you like your FIRST REO...the thrill of a new one never really wears off. There are currently 6 at my house, and I'm eagerly awaiting our 7th.

I think the juice in the catch cup actually goes into the carto as you vape. I never put mine down long enough for the juice to drain. You'll get the hang of squonking soon enough and it will be dry most of the time.

I'm not using Cartos, I've got a 510lr joye attie on the badboy. So I don't think it can soak the juice up. Seeing as the cup was empty I figure it drains back into the bottle which is something I like. Means it should be dry enough to put in my pocket
