Water alone won't instantly kill electronics provided there is no power running through it. As others have stated, let it dry completely out before powering it. All it takes is one drop of water to short circuit something.

Rice definitely will help dry it out faster.

And if the rice works, you can cook it for a celebratory meal.

LOL sorry but that sounds like something that would happen to me. Was missing on battery and just started the wash so I had that sinking feeling. Lucky for me is was between the cushions. They are good but not water proof. I now check stuff better before it goes in the wash and I don't vape over a sink or toilet. LOL Heard to may stories about fishing one out of the toilet. Yuck.

Meh, it and the battery should be fine! I've lost count how many times my HDS EDC flashlight and RCR16340 batteries have done the same thing and never a glitch one! Even did it with my Fenix E21 once, a much cheaper flashlight, and it still works great!
All should be fine.

I was going to pick one up from the factory but decided on a Macs Customs.
How do you like yours?

If you have the money, get a Mac! I liked my original Novatac a lot better! I got the high CRI, it's a bit green with the Nichia, it is like a drunk sailor tail standing, and because of the switch protruding, it's dead most times I fish it out of my pocket!
The beam is second to none, the UI is great, but Henry really didn't but his usual thoughtfulness into the tail cap on these. It's really disappointing for that on such a quality light!
